What Even?

Yunho has emotional support & Jaejoong may be heading into the army soon?
Ah, I really do like how Yunho has said that he finds solace talking to a stuffed animal.  I'm sure many of us do the same thing.  Sometimes they make the best listeners.  XD  It's going to be a sad day for many fans when Jaejoong will enlist into the army.  But there may be pluses to it too.  Even though he'll have to go through the same rigorous training as average citizens (thanks to a prior scandal by another celeb in the army a year or two ago) it can also be a resting period from his career....and fans.  I'm thinking that this year, quite a few of the second generation Kpop artists will be heading into the army.  That means the rest of SS501, a good chunk of Super Junior, at least T.O.P. of Big Bang, and four out of five members of TVXQ.  But in my opinion (and to save us the agony), I think they all should go in at the same time and get it over with.

Kpop English fails
So while I was looking around on YouTube, catching up on MVs of groups I haven't been keeping up with, I came across a video of snippets of Kpop songs and their English fails.  It's basically the English in the song that doesn't necessarily make sense, or how some of the words they pronounce sound really different.  Take a look:

Some of my favorites: "You look like a door", "Nothing sober", "Oh. My. God. I'm. So. Hard.", and "You're not a Batgirl".  Too bad they didn't put "WE GOIN' HARD TO THE COFFEE HOUSE" like I said in my last post.  But even though there are quite a few songs with such 'fail', some Kpop artists do know their English:

What is this nonsense?
Apparently this has been brewing for a few days, but then exploded.  It is an issue surrounding Kpop group B1A4.  Unfortunately, they got tangled up with the worst fandom to be involved with--Cassiopeia.  Usually when my primary fandom feels any of our members aren't getting the recognition they 'deserve', they tend to call the other fandom/artist/company/whatever out on it.  Things just got more ugly when some BANAs (B1A4 fans) made a wrong move and brought up old scars for both Yunho (poisoned drink) and Jaejoong (adoption issue).  Then Cassies came back and started saying mean things to the B1A4 members via their Twitter accounts  Really, now...what is this nonsense?!  First of all, two wrongs do not make a right.  Second, is it really going to kill HoMin (or JYJ) if they lose once in a while?  I know that what BANAs did was wrong, but if Cassies didn't instigate and just let the group have their win, things wouldn't have turned out the way they did.  Besides, who are Cassies to judge when they've done some pretty crazy things in the past?   How are fans of one group supposed to know what really goes on in another group or their fandom if they're not going to take the time to learn about that group and their fans and how they do things?  This is why I don't pay attention to music charts and rankings as much--if at all.  And my fandom seems to have become more pushier when it comes to trying to vote up HoMin or JYJ on anything these days.  "You're not a true fan if you don't do this."  Nope...I'm still a fan.  I know this also goes on in other fandoms, but since the promotions of 'Something' started, I've seen it get so bad.  And while our members are always greatful for our support, I sometimes wonder if they are also embarrassed by the actions of our fandom.  They've been in the business for 10 years now.  Newer groups are coming out.  It is inevitable that we will have to be on the backburner from time to time.  I'm sure the members know this.  To me, it doesn't mean they're less relavant.  How do you think fans of even older groups feel?  I don't think it's taboo to get into other groups either.  There was something I read on Tumblr a while ago that said: "I may be into alot of groups now, but at the end of the day, I'll always love my original group" (or something like that).  So, Cassiopeia...what do we need to do...?  I know I'm always ranting about this particular fandom, but don't forget that I still consider myself one.  It's just really frustrating when I see multiple fandoms that I like try to tear each other down.  And this doesn't just apply to Kpop.  Jpop and others are also known to do this stuff.  Did I bruise any egos with this?

Now, onto nicer things...

Changmin in a minidrama
Well, it's not on KBS, and it's short, but Changmin is going to be in another drama!  He says that he wants to show us how much his acting has improved since 'Paradise Ranch'.  The minidrama is called 'MiMi' and he plays as a webtoon artist.  From what I'm seeing, Changmin is a webtoonist who lost his high school sweetheart 10 years ago.  But, she comes to visit him as a ghost.  So...I guess it's like a ghost love story...like 'Fatal Frame III: The Tormented' in a way.  XD  Let's see if I can handle the kissing scenes like I did for 'Paradise Ranch'.

Well, that's all for now.  Until next time...if I have any readers left.  (^__^)/

November Nonsense

Greetings, fellow readers!  It's almost turkey day in the U.S.  Who is ready to stuff their face?  XD  But let's not forget the main reason for Thanksgiving--giving thanks for the things we have.  Though I'd be extremely greatful if I got to see my bias in person.  ^^;;  From the last part of October to now there have been quite a few suprising stories in fandom.  Let's get to it!

Celebrities on Twitter
After his departure from KAT-TUN back in late October that left fans devistated, Koki has come back via Twitter~!  There was a fake account before his, so when his was actually found there was a little speculation.  But since two of his brothers had followed that account, fans did the same.  Koki is the second KAT-TUN member to make an account after Jin (who doesn't use his anymore) and it's enjoyable to read his tweets--even though they're in Japanese.  :P  He's quite the chatterbox, and I like that.  ^^    Also to join Twitter is SNSD member (and one of my biases from the group) Seohyun!  She may not tweet often, but I'm glad that she's entered the world of Twitter.  I also came across Taiwanese singer and actor Ken Chu as well as Barbie Hsu and Vic Zhou.  Slowly but surely I'm finding the F4.  I follow a whole bunch of Kpop, Jpop, and Cpop stars that it's crazy.  >__<  But there are a few that I'd really enjoy seeing on Twitter, and I'm pretty sure that you can make a few guesses as to who they might be.  :P  But aside from Twitter, you have quite a few of them on other social networks--Instagram being a big one followed by Chinese site Weibo.  Of course there is now LINE and a few still use Cyworld.  So alot of stars are feeling out to the world through alot of different places.  It's really nice to see them talk about things that the general public would (to some degree), take a whole bunch of pictures of themselves or the food they're eating or their pet or their house...etc.  And it always brightens a fan's mood when they do mini fan-talks.  I have yet to get a response from anyone though.  ;A;  But one thing (though it's perfectly normal) is seeing them when they're sad or mad.  Most of the time it's due to someone hacking their accounts and whatnot.  Of course that can be avoided with stronger passwords (like a set of cryptic numbers and letters).  But then there are events that make them upset and they take to Twitter like the rest of us.  ^^;;  A while back, Jaejoong had such an issue where someone made him upset and he made it known through Twitter.  I've not seen any of my favorite celebrities get upset (probably never will on camera), but it made me wonder how scary they'd look if they got really mad.  Some of them it's hard to imagine getting really mad: Yunho and Junnosuke are just two that come to mind almost immediately.

Dongho calls it quits
U-KISS's maknae decided to call it quits from idol life it seems.  And while it's sad to see him go, I can understand his reason for doing so.  He said it was not good for his health, and if you think about all the schedules, lack of sleep, and not enough time to eat that celebrities--especially of the Kpop variety--go through you might not even want to keep going either.  The ones that do are troopers.  ^^  But Dongho also had a health issue with his lungs, so I think he made a good decision.  Best of luck to you, Dongho.  Though this is a second blow to KissMe's as they've lost Alexander and Kibum previously, I don't think that will stop them from loving all the members no matter what they're doing.

It's that time of year again...
Yes...awards shows.  =____=  These tend to be a reason for fanwars to start.  And I am certain that a good amount of cheating goes on in them as well--at least in the past there may have.  These things also seem to bring out the ugliest parts of fans.  Of the latest there was the YTMAs (Youtube Music Awards).  I was really glad that SNSD's 'I Got A Boy' won the Video of the Year Award.  But quite a few non-Kpop fans were not too thrilled with that.  Then there was the recent EMAs (European Music Awards).  Now, I don't know how EXO managed to make it on there, but they did.  I usually don't participate in these things, but I did try to help them to win whatever they were nominated for.  Unfortunately, they were pitted against fans of One Direction and Justin Bieber.  And it didn't help that some fans of other Kpop fans also didn't want them to win.  It was apparent on my Twitter list.  And when EXO didn't win, they jumped for joy...and I found that to be totally unecessary.  >__>  But EXO, One Direction, and Justin Bieber all lost to a Chinese singer.  And that is fine by me.  The award show I tend to keep from voting in is the MAMAs (Mnet Asian Music Awards).  I've been doing so since HoMin was nominated...that year was crazy.  .___.

Ailee/Allkpop scandal
*sigh*  In what might be the biggest scandal of the year (aside from the pain I felt towards the whole 'ChangToria' thing) is the whole fiasco between Kpop star Ailee and Kpop gossip news site Allkpop.  I may not know the whole issue, but from what I'm gathering the thing started when Allkpop posted an article about nude photos of Ailee being posted.  That led to serious backlash for the site as fans found it extremely improper of Allkpop to do.  The site had already ruffled many fans' feathers numerous times before, but this might just be the icing on the cake.  I say that because it's caught the attention of actual Korean media who didn't know about the site's existance until last week.  What makes this issue so tough is that the apparent leaker of Ailee's photos was an ex-boyfriend of hers and the photos were taken before she became a star and while she was living in the U.S.  And that ex-boyfriend works at Allkpop so...yeah.  My thought on the issue (and while some may totally disagree with me) is that this is a lesson learned on Ailee's part.  One should be careful of what they do or say in the time before they become someone in a position of fame because someone is bound to dig it up.  I was suprised that she admitted that those were photos of her to begin with because most would just deny it.  And while it was pretty bad of Allkpop to post those, I'll still continue to follow them on Twitter.  Sure, they may have said some awful things about Kpop stars before Kpop became global, but I doubt they're the only site out there that trolls like that.  I had been visiting a site called POPSEOUL! in my early fangirl days that also was a bit of a troll.  But I can't help wondering if this whole mess would've been different if the leaked nudes were of a male idol instead...  Well, all I can say is that I hope things will get cleared up soon.

Aside from all that there were the pictures that Kpop collaboration duo Troublemaker had released that were a bit too sexy and a clip of a movie called 'Rough Play' (starring Lee Joon) that was nothing but sex.  :P  I wonder how he felt filming it?  Well, that is all for now.  Until next time!

Tidbits Of News

Lately, I've been kind of seeing a couple of things related to swimming (well, only two things).  And all I can relate them to is the anime that became quite popular, 'Free!'  But I could be wrong.  They could've been for summer.  One is an upcoming Korean movie called 'No Breathing'.  From the link, the plot seems to be about swimming rivals and the both of them falling for the same girl.  It's kind of like the anime with the exception of falling for a girl.  ^^  And it looks like one of my favorite SNSD members is in it!  The other swim-related show is the next segment to 'Cool Kiz on the Block'.  I really do enjoy this show--and not just because Changmin is in it.  After the sport of badminton, they're going to go swimming.  I wonder if that'll include diving, synchronized swimming, or competitive swimming.  And now that I think of it...what if they do make a reference to 'Free!'?  XD  Pictures of Changmin in a pool (with a shirt on) are already coming out and some fans are really excited for this segment because of possible shirtlessness, speedos, or whatever.  While I'd also most likely enjoy this segment as well, I was really hoping for a different sport.  I really wanted them to play billiards.  Why you ask?  That way I could possibly see another JunnoMin interaction.  Junnosuke is really good at billiards, and maybe Changmin would've called him up to be on the Cool Kiz team.  Then I would've seen several weeks of interactions.  *o*  But I'm also certain this may not come to pass because Junnosuke is a Johnnys, and the company might not let that happen.  Then there's the slight issue with the realtionship between Japan and S. Korea already.   *dreams are shot*  OTL

I also heard about Yunho and Changmin having a fanmeeting with Cassiopeia.  While I'd love to be there, I'd feel quite melancholic about it at the same time.  Because I want to be at one that has all five members.  :x  Also, I heard that Junsu sang a little of 'Stand By U' and 'Forever Love'.  That makes me quite glad.  I know it might sound contradicting as I said I was uncomfortable with Yunho and Changmin singing their old songs.  Junsu did say, however, that he would rather have sang it as five.  Additionally (and it will sound contradictory again), I heard a clip of Changmin singing a bit of 'HUG'.  And that made me sad.  I really don't want them to sing 'HUG' or 'Stay With Me Tonight' unless they're going to sing it as five.  Those two songs just don't work for me unless there are five voices.  :/

Now, onto more pressing matters in fandom...

KOKI IS NO LONGER A MEMBER OF KAT-TUN!!!!!!  ;A;  This makes me really sad!  I wonder if this is why KAT-TUN hasn't been doing much these past few months.  Koki isn't even a bias of mine, but it is really upsetting to see him leave.  He was the one who came up with the fandom's name, Hyphen (which stood for the 'link' keeping KAT-TUN together).  He was the one who said he loved the fans very much and during concerts would tell them to stick with KAT-TUN forever.  The reason for the termination of his contract is due to his breaking of the rules Johnny puts in place for the artist.  And Koki's latest scandal was...crazy, so I can see why the company would do it.  But at the same time, I really wish they could've suspended him for the next promotional album or something.  Here are the messages left by the company, Koki himself, and the other members.  From the way it sounded it's like Koki will still remain in Johnny's Ent. but only as a solo artist or he might get demoted to Jr. status (as I've read some other artists have done when they got in serioius trouble).  This is like a second blow to Hyphens.  I believe it will be much harder to replicate the sound of their old songs as Koki was their only true rapper and he usually had a part to himself in alot of the songs.  And while I know Nakamaru or Junnosuke could do it, it still just wouldn't be the same.  To be honest, it was hard for me to listen to them sing their old songs and have to sing Jin's parts.  *sigh*  It's good, however, to see some fans say that they'll continue to support Koki after his departure, but I wonder if there will be ones that will treat him like they do Jin.  :/  I'm sure there are some fans that even might think "At least isn't not my favorite member" or commentors that might say "At least it's not happening to my favorite group".  >__>  To me, I'll continue to consider him as part of KAT-TUN like I do for Jin.  It's also the same thing I do for many of the other groups that I've come to know that also have members to leave--case and point being TVXQ.  Koki, you shall be truly missed as being a part of KAT-TUN.

Well, that is all for now.  Until next time...

'Papadol' And The Mixed Feelings I Get From It

So, lately I've been watching a few dramas.  Right now, I'm watching one called 'Papa wa Idol' a.k.a. 'Papadol'.  It stars Ryo Nishikido and is currently being aired in Japan.  It's more of a romantic comedy where Nishikido stars as himself and portrays what life would be like if an idol got married.  It's a remake of a previous Jdrama, but the roles are reversed: the idol is a woman who marries an average man.  Also in this drama, virtually everyone plays as themselves.

So far the drama is very interesting as I've never seen one with this kind of plot.  However, it also makes me kind of sad.  :(  The reason is because it makes me wonder yet again about this sensitive situation about a famous person's relationships.  It's kind of like: "I didn't realize all of this could happen" granted he/she dates an average person.  One quote from the movie (Nishikido's manager had said to him): "Your job is to sell dreams to the fans" or "You can't get married yet.  What will your fans or even your members think?"  Well, these may not be the accurate quotes.  ^^;;  In a sense, I think that this drama may be something that all fans should take a look at.  It may make you wonder...could you handle it when your bias gets married?  I know that I may have a poor reaction to the news if my top biases were even said to be dating.  XD  On the flipside, could one even handle being able to date a celebrity after seeing all the stuff they have to do in this drama?  I probably would still want to.  ^o^  But all joking aside...this drama so far is entertaining, but also melancholic to me.  It makes me think about letting go of the idea that I have any romantic feelings for any of my biases so that if (or when) that time comes of dating/marriage announcements from them, at least I won't have a mental breakdown or soemthing.  I always say that I want them to be happy, but in the same breath I want to be that one that makes them happy--more so in Changmin's case--or at least meet them when they're single.  XD  Saa...

Let's see what else will come out of this drama~!  Until next time.

What's Up? & Introducing Another Bias!

It's been a while, hasn't it?  I apologize for that.  Half of the problem was laziness (when is it not?) and the other half was due to the lack of comments.  There were times when I considered just getting rid of this blog because I was feeling that the stuff I was typing was not interesting.  But I suppose that eventually more commenters will come.  I just need to hang in there.

While I was on 'hiatus' so much had happened.  But I can't remember all of it.  ^^;;  Thus, I shall just blog about how a certain bias of mine has somewhat recently messed up my straight-laced, airtight bias list.  His name:  Ryo Nishikido!

Hehe...there is a (stupid) reason that he became my bias in the first place. Can you guess what is is?  >:D

He's one of my biases that I kind of kept on the back-burner.  Actually, most of my biases are in that spot because I just talk about Changmin and Junnosuke all the time.  It may be quite unfair, I know.  But anyway, I've found myself spazzing over this man for over the past two weeks.  The crazy thing is that he's been somewhat the subject of about three or four of my dreams...within the span of a week.  o.O  I guess that can account from me watching 'Inu wo Kau to Iu Koto' where he played the lead male role as a salaryman/father.  I was mainly watching it for Junnosuke, but then I was like: "Hey, Nishikido is in this too~!" since I've never seen him act.  He's pretty good!  But then again, I'd say that about any actor really.  The only slightly uncomfortable feeling I have for him right now is that since I'm starting to spazz over him, I fear that I will gradually push Changmin and (recent spazzing bias) Junnosuke from their #1 and #2 spots.  That is something I do not want to happen.  .___.  Pretty lame, huh?

So, a little about the guy...he was born in Osaka, Japan.  He is part of Johnny's Entertainment as a member of Kanjani8.  He used to be part of NEWS as well, but he recently left (that was the group I found him in).  He can play guitar, and I'm sure he's well known for a signature mole on his chin.  When it comes to his personality, he's said to be quite a meanie.  .___.  And I don't think it's like 'Changmin' mean either (which I have grown accustom to).  I read that he made Ueda--a member of KAT-TUN--quite upset at one point.  He also sounds like quite the ladies man too.  It's rather awkward how he's even one of my biases!  But then again, I'm on a quest to learn more about each of them, so I may have a few that would totally contradict my standard bias.  Did that make any sense?  XD  But despite this, I have the thought that he might be a nice guy.  At least I felt that way when watching the drama I stated earlier.  But as with all celebrities, the only way to find out how they truly are is if you're actually around them.

Well, that's pretty much it for this post.  Until next time~!  ^o^

Happy Belated 6th Anniversary, KAT-TUN And A Small Issue

March 22, 2012 marked the 6th anniversary of the Jpop group I tend to follow the most...KAT-TUN~!  ^o^  As most of you know, I've become quite interested in this group a few months back.  I've heard of them prior to actually becoming a fan, but never really paid attention to them (as I was into anime and about to head into the realm of Kpop).  But just like TVXQ I do feel sad that I came into the fandom really late.

Anyway, KAT-TUN is a super popular Jpop male group that is under Johnny's Entertainment.  They're very interesting fellas if I do say so myself.  I'm in the process of watching their variety show called 'Cartoon KAT-TUN and they are just as hilarious as my main bias group~!  Although the vocals of the members of KAT-TUN do confuse me--because they almost sound alike--I do like alot of their songs.  Their dancing is...a bit interesting as well.  But that is because I'm so used to seeing Kpop grounds dance in sync.  However, this group has a pretty impressive record when it comes to their performances and such.  So far, KAT-TUN is the only group to perform multiple times in the prestigious Tokyo Dome BEFORE debut.  And at one time, they performed ELEVEN shows in ONE day!  How amazing is that?  o.O  There are several other feats that they've done, but I can't remember off the top of my head.  Here is a link to their Wikipedia page for that:  KAT-TUN history.  I also made a post about them earlier if you want to check them out further.  :D

HAPPY 6TH ANNIVERSARY, KAT-TUN~!

Now, the next issue is about what recently happened on Twitter involving a recent picture of Jaejoong.  At first I didn't know what they were talking about--save that some fans were spazzing that Jaejoong had become blonde or something.  But then some fans began to notice that it didn't come from his own twitter (and it was a selca of himself).  This was also from KakaoTalk--sort of like a Korean instant messaging app for your smartphone, ipad, etc.  And since it wasn't uploaded by Jaejoong himself or any of his staff, many fans were lead to believe that his account on KakaoTalk was hacked by a sasaeng fan or whatnot.  And what with all the issues that have arisen pertaining to sasaengs lately, it could make any situation tense.  But I believe that the person who initially uploaded the picture took it down.  I think she may have been a friend of his on KakaoTalk too (I'm still fuzzy on the details).  The issue is about other fans' reactions to the fans who said it could have been the work of sasaengs.  They seemed to have gotten upset when sasaengs were blamed.  Truthfully, I would've blamed them too.  After hearing about everything that those types of girls do, it would make your eyes go o.O  But upon realizing it, alot of the stuff we see about our favorite celebs--airport pics mainly--most likely come from a sasaeng.  I guess I'm alright with airport pics and whatnot HOWEVER I don't like all the extra stuff that sasaengs do.  For example...getting a hold of their cellphone numbers, flight itinerary, breaking and entering their houses...I guess basically anything that invades their privacy or does more harm to the celebrity and the fan than good.  I think the best way to make an impression as a fan to your 'oppa', 'ichiban', whatever is to just attend their concert, go to a fan meet, or send them a nicely done letter with maybe a fan gift...as long as it's not written in blood or anything disturbing.  ^^;;  But I just figure I'd let out my thoughts on the issue.

Peace out~!

Fangirl Moodswings

This is an entry I had from my LiveJournal...

I feel a bit intimidated when I step into a group that has long been established in the entertainment world and has so many fans that are 'well-seasoned' in terms of knowlege of a member I like. I usually think: "Wow...they know alot about him. They'd make a better pair than I would with him." It was a little like that in the beginning for me with Changmin in TVXQ, but it seems a bit worse for Junnosuke in KAT-TUN since I'm so late in entering the fandom. :o I hope none of you take it the wrong way of course. I really do admire the loyalty in some of you fans because it must be so easy to stick with just one person (which I seem to have temporarily lost sight with). I only say that last part because loyalty/faithfulness is one of the big traits of a Leo. Maybe that is why my brain is fried whenever I look at the pics on my Windows 7 desktop thingy because it's got both Changmin and Junnosuke pics to shuffle through.

I see fans who are strictly Changmin and ones who are strictly Junnosuke biased. And ones that like both already seem to have chosen who they'd most likely stick with. So, where does that leave me? I still think that I'd most likely choose Changmin, but then I don't want to lose Junnosuke either. Then I think: "Is this really something to be fretting over?" XD I also don't want to be considered a 'fake' fan or a disappointment to one fandom or the other for liking both of these guys very much. It's like I'm thinking they're saying: "You should stick with one and not worry about the other". Even thought that is totally not the case of what they're saying. But I really dislike when fans compare them in negative ways, namely by saying that one is better than the other in various fields (i.e. - hotness/cuteness, dancing, singing, etc.) >:( I can't --no--I REFUSE to do that. If I do compare, it's all for good things. I guess I just want fans who are either Changmin/Junnosuke-biased to recognize that BOTH are special.

I guess this would filter in with my previous post in the section that was talking about Kpop and Jpop.  Anyways...peace out~!

March Is Not Shaping Up Too Well...

Just yesterday I came across two pieces of upsetting news: one in the real world and the other in the fandom world.  I'll begin with the real world because that is really important.  If you have a Twitter or a Facebook or any other means of social networking, you may have seen the words 'Invisible Children' somewhere.  There is this mass project going on to make it well known who these children are.  I came across this video (which is being spread), and if you have half an hour, it's worth watching.  I didn't think I could sit through and watch all of it.  ^^;;  But I did.  And even if you don't watch all of it, at least get something out of it.  And pass it on.  :D  I know that there're alot of bad things happening in the world, but I feel that for the longest time problems in places like Africa and India go unnoticed.

   Credit:

I'm not much of a shaker or a mover when it comes to stuff like this, so all I can really do is just pass this on.  :3

Ah, the next issue within the fandom.  Yet again, JYJ has been accused of hitting and cursing at their fans.  There is an alleged video (audio only) where you can hear Jaejoong cursing and 'hitting' a fan.  I have not watched these videos though.  Some fans who heard of this news were shocked.  Two general reactions were either anger and extremem disappointment at the members or anger and extreme disappointment toward these fans.  I'm against any kind of violence, but I have to admit that these fans got what they came for.  But it is suprising that the members have lasted this long with these kinds of fans.  "What kind," you ask?  They are called 'sasaeng' fans....an EXTREME version of stalkers.  This post from Tumblr explanis it better:  Sasaeng Fans.  Now, I may call myself a crazy-obsessed fan, but I know for sure that I am nowhere near the level of them.  I have yet another article that tells of various incidences involving all members of TVXQ.  But it's not only this group that has suffered from sasaengs.  Warning:  There is quite a bit of cursing in the beginning and it is really long, but I advise you read it all.  Other famous Kpop stars as well have been stalked.  It's just that TVXQ's tends to be really prevalent.  I've heard of some of these incidences for the span that I've been a Kpop fan.  And I do remember the members speaking about them on a variety program.  However, there were some events that I didn't even know about.  ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CAME TO MY ULTIMATE BIAS BEING INJURED AND BROUGHT TO THE POINT OF TEARS!!!!  >:O  It was really upsetting.  And then when I looked at my poster of them in my room, I felt really bad for them.  I have KakaoTalk for the simple reason of looking for Changmin (because apparently he has one) but now I don't think I'll be using it for a long time because it sounds like stalking.  In any case, this post should hopefully bring more insight and make us all rethink what kind of fans we are.

Oh, Kpop...How You Make Me Think... ^^;;

This February just keeps continuing to be bad.  Between controversies, rumors, and racism in Kpop alone, you'd think I'd be done with it all.  But, I'm not.  Sure, this genre comes with ALOT of drama but I'd have to say that would be because of netizens and the fandoms themselves.  And with fans that are getting younger by the day, you have that sense of annoyance that older fans may feel.  Some even threaten to leave Kpop because it gets to be too much.  But then that makes me feel sad becuase then I'd lose more spazzing friends, and it'd be weird to bring up Kpop to them when they're not interested anymore.  :x

One instance that would be a controversey involves Block B and their interview in Thailand.  In short, they said a few things that got out of hand, made some netizens (and a few other celebs) a little mad, got bashed pretty hard, and the bashers then got bashed harder.  That's kind of how the cycle seems to go with these things as I continue in this fandom.  To be honest, it wasn't like this when I was just into anime.  But then again, back in those days we didn't have Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube.  So, maybe people get more and more angry with each other because of these social networks and the comments that differ so much from their own opinons?  I think that's what happens to me sometimes.  Man...being a celebrity in either Kpop or Jpop (maybe other places as well) is REALLY troublesome.  This is why I really do hope that people will really reconsider becoming one in the future.

Being A Butthurt Fan Really Sucks: I'm Really Tool Old To Be Doing Stuff Like This

I'm going to be butthurt for a moment on this post.  Today, it was said that Akanishi Jin (former member of KAT-TUN, and my 2nd favorite from said group) was to marry a celebrity named Kuroki Meisa.  I've heard her name before.  :o  But that's not all!  She's also said to be pregnant.  This came as quite a shock to me.  Am I upset?  Yeah, I'll say it.  Can I do anything about it?  Other than complaining and the likes, no I cannot.  Besides, I'm wa~ay too far away from any of my favorite celebrities to do anything.  And I can't just go and troll her Twitter or whatever with messages of hate as much as this bugs me.  You see, this comes after something happened in my real life involving someone I liked in the past that had happened recently.  Not to mention that it reminds me of the scandal involving Junnosuke (my 1st favorite from KAT-TUN) being in a relationship with a 'gravure' model.  On top of that, I read that Changmin was taking pics with ladies in bikinis and that just adds on to my fangirl flames.  OTL

I suppose reactions like this from crazed fans makes other people who are casual fans really annoyed.  Most of the time, they'd say to "get over it" or "they can date whoever they want" or stuff like that.  I believe I had said stuff like this before.  ^^;;  I know that there is truth to this, and that they say they're human...but so are fans.  :o  I also know that even if I did manage to date a celebrity and suffer massive bashing for it, I think I might still be able to hold out.  ._.  I guess that sounds a little contradicting since I'm complaining right now.  However, it seems the only way for me to actually meet my goal of seeing any of them is to either become someone famous or work as a staff member for them.  OTL  How did that lady marry her favorite actor?  (I can't remember if she married Tom Cruise or some other famous guy).

So, I'm pretty sure that if any of the celebrities I talk about on this blog or any famous news places from Asia read my blogs, they may be like "Dang...she's one crazy-@$$ chick!" and maybe try to avoid me if they ever saw me.  But I assure you, I'm still sane and just crazy 60% of the time.  I always tell myself that if I just happen to see them in real life (preferably when they're single) I can get over them when stuff like this happens.  I guess I'm more shocked at how fast this happened and how she's the same age as I am.  :x  But since I've yet to hear anything from either Akanishi or Meisa, I'm now wondering if it is true at all.  *crosses fingers in hopes that it is false*  Okay, I should stop being mean.  ^^;;  I guess I should go back to liking only anime guys (I never was interested in any male celebs like I am now)...but that is like taking a step backwards.  Eh...I'll just stop right here with this post.  I aplolgize if I wasted your time with this drabble.

Peace out~!

What A Bumpy Road Life Can Be

So, the SOPA/PIPA bill didn't pass.  I guess that's okay.  It was rough trying to put out your side of the argument when so many saw it so differently.  It kinda reminded me of the episode of 'The Boondocks' where "R. Kelly" was on trial, and Huey's response to the whole thing (check out that episode one day).  Maybe it was because they probably saw more negative than positive?  Did they even think about what good there may be in the bill?  The whole thing was just really frustrating.  Not so much the bill itself, but the actions of people towards another when it came to speaking their mind.  I know I said that I was for and against the bill, but I seemed to try and express the positive sides in the bill more than anything.  ^^;;  But people said that this bill would lead to more censorship of the internet.  One person even said that we'd probably lose Amazon and YesAsia.  I found that kinda weird since those are sites where you actually buy stuff.  However, could our government be that crazy to censor everything?  I really don't think it'd come to that.  Then again, I guess I don't think that far into the future because it's always changing.  I'm not sure what an alternative could be for getting rid of pirated sites, keeping with the copyright rules and keeping our rights intact (since that is what people were complaining about).  But if anyone knows a good way, let the government know rather than retaliating in a wrong way.  I know that this is quite outrageous of me, but shouldn't we have at least a little faith in the government?  I mean, what if I became a Congresswoman?  Would I automatically become a bad person?  I know that there are some bad people in office, but there are some in the public too, right?  It really is hard to try and meet everyone's needs.

In the end, the internet is alright.  If anything, this whole debocle has made me think of how much time I actually do spend on the internet.  This should also be a little of a lesson to ones who dowload alot of stuff.  Try and cool it.  And try to buy the stuff too.  Remember, if I were a manga-ka and you were reading my stuff online but not buying it, I'd be a little upset.  ^^;;  Also, wouldn't it be wise to step out a little?  I remember whenever fans and netizens get all fussy, others would tell them to get off the internet and get some fresh air.  I think that is what we all need from time to time.  Maybe we've forgotten what it is like without hours and hours of internet activity.  Eh...this was quite a situation to begin the year.  Politics--as well as religion--never make anyone really happy when you converse about them.  But life moves on, you know?  Peace~!

TONE...? SOPA...? PIPA...?

Now...before I begin this, please believe me when I say that I am a hardcore TVXQ fan that supports the five and an internet junkie in many (what may now be deemed as controversial/hypocritical) ways.  But today, I'm just going to explain certain things to you all.  Let's start with HoMin's first day of the TONE tour.  Actually I really have nothing much to say about it.  I haven't even looked at fancame or pics of the event.  All I know is that they did good.  They sang new songs...and probably sang some old ones.  I still wonder if they feel uncomfortable singing the old ones.  :x  I'm not so much as upset that they're touring.  JYJ has been touring alot too--but that's pretty much all they CAN do right now--so it's kind of equal.  But if they call it their 4th Asia tour or 5th Japanese tour, it makes me a bit sad.  Now, I may be now labelled as a hater for whichever side...but how can that be when my bias from the group is Changmin and my second favorite from the group is Jaejoong?  I miss my JaeMin moments.  You'd probably think that I have animosity against HoMin or JYJ.  Well, maybe?  I do think they all need a good slap...on the wrist.  Maybe a few of you would say that I may not be supporting them.  But I have 3 of their Japanese albums as well as three Korean albums.  I would eventually end up listening to fancams and stuff from months before....so I get around to it.  Who knows?  Maybe I'm desperate to see them as five again.

Now, the next thing to talk about is this SOPA/PIPA bill that is being contemplated in Congress.  Today, people are protesting because it 'violates' our internet rights.  the bills are basically about trying to stop online piracy (illegal downloading of songs, movies, anime, manga, etc.).  If the bill passes, then the sites that cater to the things I put in parenthesis will most likely go away.  Obviously this is something I should be concerned about.......but I'm not.  Scratch that.  I am a little bit (because the sites that cater to my Kdramas and Jdramas may be at risk as well as YouTube) but I do think that illegal downloading is bad.  I admit that I do it, but it's because it is difficult to find albums from foreign artists here in the U.S.  We really should trade more with Japan and S. Korea (at least with music albums) so I can see TVXQ, KAT-TUN, Maaya Sakamoto, and other artists music on shelves here.  I do understand if manga sites shut down.  If I were a manga artist, and people were posting my manga online and not actually buying it, I'd be a little upset.  They've worked too hard!  >:(  The life of a manga-ka is difficult, folks!  Somehow, I think copyrighting is involved with these bills.  Eh...I was trying to see if there were pros and cons to this bill and try to see the good in it.  But if you want to know more, here is a news article from a local news station:  SOPA/PIPA Blackout.  And here's another from the Google page:  End Piracy, Not Liberty.

Well, all I can say is this:  whatever happens will happen.  Peace.

So, How 'Bout Them MAMAs?

Before I begin this post, know that I am also a crazy fangirl in some ways.  ^_^  But...

Ugh...never have I seen so much crazy mess that is an award ceremony.  From the day the polls opened up for voting to the time of the actual award giving, things were just crazy.  But just to make things clear, I didn't really pay much attention to it all.  So I really shouldn't be saying anything about it.  But since my Twitter list is 90% Kpop related, I was still a part of it.

In the beginning, I wasn't really opting to vote.  I kept hearing who the nominees were for certain categories and such.  HoMin were nominated for a few as well as Super Junior, B2ST, and several other groups I like.  So, the main reason I didn't want to vote was because of that: too many of my favorite groups.  But then there was also the fact that I was a little sad that JYJ was once again absent from the list.  Everyday was like one of those voting campaigns for presidential elections you'd see on television.  Fans of various groups had also found ways to boost up the voting results of their groups by making several voting accounts.  To me, I kinda felt that was wrong.  It felt like cheating.  Like fans were doing it just for the sake of the award rather than thinking about if they really deserve it.  Eventually, I did come around to voting, but I wasn't going to vote for just HoMin or just Super Junior in all categories they were nominated for.  I actually went and looked up some of the other nominated artists and the songs that they were nominated for.  But I only voted ONCE.  That was it.  The rest of the time, I watched as others made various accounts to vote.  I was pretty much ready for it to be over really.  ^^;;

Then, just yesterday (on my side of the world).  Voting had ended and the award ceremony was held...in Singapore.  But it was live streamed as well.  I didn't watch it because it was during my sleeping hours.  XD  But when I woke up...the reactions were just...  @_@  Cassiopeia was upset because HoMin didn't win anything.  And I was okay with that.  They've won so many awards in the past.  I'm sure Yunho and Changmin were like: "Ah~ No awards this year.  That's okay though.  We did our best."  But if all five were there, I'm sure it would've been an almost all-kill.  It just goes to show that anything that was once full and becomes divided doesn't stand a good chance.  Kind of like the slogan I kept hearing while in school.  "United We Stand, Divided We Fall".  So...what does that tell us, Cassies?  Anyway, I believe E.L.F.s were upset because they didn't win a certain award.  Again.  Nothing to worry about.  I think Super Junior did well this year too.  And I think they won an award anyway, so I'm cool with it.  I'm not sure why BlackJacks (2NE1's fans) were upset though.  Either way, many fandoms were butthurt that evening.

Now...I know that there are some things that I do get upset about in my fangirl life.  Most of it being whenever my biases are said to be in relationships and stuff or when things between JYJ and HoMin stans flare up.  But when it comes to awards...I'm cool with it.  HoMin may not have won any awards, but look at our situation.  And heck, neither JYJ or HoMin are nominated for the Golden Disk Awards.  My theory is because they know how us Cassies are.  ^^;;  But whatever, TVXQ (all five members of course) are still stars in my eyes.  No need for an award.  Just keep on truckin' towards reunification.  To the artists that won an award, I congradualate you~!

I know I may sound like a bitter fan or some meanie that just stole your lunch money, but doesn't some of my words have at least some truth or sense to them?  As one of my fellow Cassie friends has said...I am a thinking fan.  There are lots of things I think about that deal with how this fandom is and how I wish it was.  So, as usual, I apologize for stepping on some toes.  Now...onto my next post!

Oh, Cassiopeia... =_=;;

Ah, Cassiopeia...I really do enjoy being a part of this large fandom, but ever since the latter part of 2009 things haven't been the best.  With the seperation of the members into two groups at the moment and all the constant fighting/bashing, it turns even the nicest of fans into really mean ones.  Others who cannot handle any of the arguing simply become a 'turned off' fan or leave the fandom altogether.  As of right now, the fans are split into three groups: JYJ stans, HoMin stans, and OT5 stans.  In the case of OT5, there can be subtle differences.

To me, JYJ stans are quite vocal about their issues (be it with HoMin or anything else).  In the beginning, I was very much okay with how JYJ stans felt.  They must've found it unfair that Yunho and Changmin went on to promote asTVXQ when Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu couldn't.  They must've also felt upset when the said three were (and still are) banned from any show that would help promote them.  I'm not going to lie, I feel the same way.  So, that is why I can side with JYJ stans on this:  simply because I still feel like there is some injustice towards Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu.  But lately, there have been some fans that take their frustrations a little too far and do some crazy things with it.  HoMin stans are, in my opinion, passive-agressive with their issues.  They aren't as vocal with things as far as I've seen.  When the initial seperation happened, I wasn't really to enthusiastic with them.  Yes, I'd support TVXQ, but not 2VXQ or whatever they call it.  Like JYJ stans, they make it known that they do not like the other members.  Most of their conflicts rise whenever a JYJ stan makes themselves present or whenever bashing comes into play.  OT5 stans are a little more bearable.  It depends on what type you are though.  As I had heard once, you have 2 types: ones that support the five members even through this seperation and the ones that support the five members' work prior to.  Where do I fall in this?  I'm probably half and half.  I support all five even through this seperation, but I haven't been as enthusiastic with listening to their recent stuff or keeping up with news on them.  If you were to ask me what would be my favorite song on the 'In Heaven' or 'TONE' albums, I'd probably just pick one out of the blue because I haven't heard all the songs on either album.  But most OT5 stans have the same wish to see all members back together again or at least see them have their friendship restored.  There are a few who do not mind that TVXQ has split the way it has and actually don't mind if they never get back together.  That makes me a little sad to hear it though.  The conflicts that OT5 stans have is whenever JYJ and HoMin fans fight amongst themselves or when both of those entities get into a tussle with them.  Sometimes it is what JYJ/HoMin stans say that sets off an OT5.  Thus, some mean things could come from them.  And to me, that is just as bad as being JYJ/HoMin biased.  -_-;;  I know I may have said some mean things about JYJ/HoMin stans too (just to make you all feel better).  >_<  So, no matter how you look at it, all parts of the fandom are a little rough around the edges.  Lately, JYJ stans have been getting a bad reputation for their lashing out in these past few months.  But amidst all that, I still think there are some good fans within that side of the fandom.  Just like I'm sure there are within the HoMin and OT5.  (S/N:  Just to put this out there, I'm not very fond of fans that say things like "I hate JYJ or HoMin or saying 'ex'-members.  It aggrivates me.)  It's really sad to think this way but for fans who did abandon one side, they must've never really liked a few members in the first place.  -_-;;  I'd like to say that's being a fake fan, but that may be too strong a word.  But what will those fans do when TVXQ comes back together again?  If they go back to cheering "We love you all!" all I can do is shake my head in shame because I'd consider that being finicky or two-faced.  But that's just my opinion.

Fangirl Moodswings

I feel a bit intimidated when I step into a group that has long been established in the entertainment world and has so many fans that are 'well-seasoned' in terms of knowlege of a member I like.  I usually think: "Wow...they know alot about him.  They'd make a better pair than I would with him."  It was a little like that in the beginning for me with Changmin in TVXQ, but it seems a bit worse for Junnosuke in KAT-TUN.

Either way, both make me very happy…but I’m also finding myself asking: “Why do you two make it so difficult? Wae/Doushite?” (o_o;)

~Myndless~ Ramblings of the 'Same Old, Same Old'

While surfing DBSKALWAYS, the website I fancy, I came across an article that was shared from another site called JYJFanTalk.  This post was borrowed from the original author of another blog.  While reading it, I was getting the notion that she's:  single all her life, doesn't wear make-up, and wonders why her dating life sucks.  So I was like "Yeah, that kinda sounds like me."  But then she got into a subject that most fans tend to push into the back of their minds until it is brought to their attention:  any member of a group they follow becoming romantically involved with someone.  And to make it a rather 'harsh reality', she used TVXQ/JYJ as an example.

Now I have heard this said many times:  "The members need love too."  And I am one to agree with that.  It's just...well...I wanted to be that one special girl to administer that love (to Changmin, of course).  After reading posts like that, I usually get that sense of "Well, dang...now what am I supposed to do?" or "Should I just give up on that notion of sharing my life with him since it seems so useless to keep wishing?"  I get upsetting/melancholy thoughts whenever I read things of that nature.  And it sticks around for quite some time.  The worst things are when people make comments like "Oh, I'm glad he/she is finally getting some/tapping that".  -_-;;

Of course, I'm gonna use Changmin as my example because I love him.  Actually I am still at a loss to even say it is love or should I call it lust?  Anyway...so, when he does get a girlfriend, how am I gonna act?  Well, chances are he's probably got one now.  I know he's too handsome to stay single for very long.  And since he's so ninja about his private life, it's rather difficult to know for sure.  But if it is announced publicly, I may be quite upset.  But if it were just ar normal girl, I may be less upset than if it were a celebrity.  However, if it is announced that he got secretly married and has a child already...guess how I'm gonna feel?  :(   But it's not like I'm gonna be so mand that I'll find a way to harm their loved ones.  I don't think I'd have the gall to do that.  However, I'd probably forever wish I was in her place at that given moment.  But then I should also think of it this way:  If I do get into a relationship with Changmin...imagine how many hearts I'll break because of it.  :(

Views vs. Comments

So today I post about a few things that have been on my mind.  One of them is my viewing count on my blog.  I am glad that many people are veiwing it, but I'm not getting many comments.  Most of my comments come from my good friend, YunhoFan, over at DBSKALWAYS and a few from Cha who runs the site JYJ Fantalk (a site that does support all five members).  I really appreciate them for commenting.  You ladies rock~!  >_<  However, I am wondering why other people aren't commenting.  Then I thought about it...whenever people look for pics online--let's say, Google--some of the pics on my blog come up.  All they do is just click the pick to look at it without really looking at my blog or reading my posts.  Is that it?  :(  So it makes me wonder what I can do to gain people's interests so they can actually COMMENT on my stuff.  Should I not use any pictures?  Should I write about different stuff?  I am aware that my site is generally towards Asian pop...more like Kpop...mainly TVXQ/JYJ stuff...Changmin.  Ok, you get my point.  I just would like to know (from the people who actually come to read my posts) what you'd like to see here.  And hopefully, I will be able to write an interesting post on that said subject.

Well, that is pretty much it for this post.  Short, huh?  Until next time~!

I Think I Need A Break...

There seems to be once again a lull in my fangirling for TVXQ.  I haven't been this...fizzled since back in November of last year.  I eventually got over that when I came to know some really great fans that support the five.  :)  However, just last week, something happened within the JYJ side of the TVXQ fandom that set off ripples.  One of the dancers, Telisha, released her first single for the Kpop industry titled "Our Secret".  Not only that, but she did it under the name 'Telisu'.  So, I heard the song, and instantly thought:  "Oh dear...why does it sound like it's about Junsu?"  =.=;;  Don't get me wrong, she is really nice (heck, she responded to me a few times on Twitter), but my thoughts come because she seems to favor Junsu very much.  But then again, they could be about someone else that she works with.  Anyway, fans--ESPECIALLY Junsu-biased fans--got really upset.  On the other hand, there are some that actually wouldn't mind the coupling.  In fact, I think I wrote an entry about this before.

I am somewhere in the middle I suppose.  I can understand the jealousy that the fans may feel because if it were Changmin, I know I'd be jealous too.  In fact, it is suprising that I'm making a big deal about this because Junsu isn't even my bias!  >_<  But when it gets to the point of fans sending her threatening things, then it's not so good anymore.  Then there are times when I wouldn't mind it because it tells me that they're into girls with a little more color.  Not to mention that it's much easier for any staff member, other celeb, or whatnot to be closer to them than just a lowly fan like me, so why do I even bother?  :(  However, I find it a bit aggrivating that the fans who don't mind it say for others to grow up.  I know that he is in his 20's and such and can do whatever he wants, but I am also in my 20s.  I know that's not very relavent, but yeah.  I also find it a bit upsetting when they'd say "Lol, I bet he's getting some from her" or something like that.  I know that they may not be virgins anymore, but it's still rather harsh to bring up such things...especially in the case of Changmin with me.  :/  You see, my view on this is that I'd be happy for them to date, but at the same time I can't help but feel sad/jealous that it's not me.  But I guess that not ever having any relationship with a boy has turned me into the way I am now.  And since I see these guys not only a celebrities, but also as any other man I'd want to date, it may be a problem.   So, in  a sense, I am pretty much aggrivated with both fans who take their jealousy too far and fans who say to grow up (which constantly keeps the issue around).  And whenever I see or hear about anything related to this (i.e.- pics, fanfics, and comments regarding whatever stance they have on this) I get slightly annoyed/fizzled.  For that, I apologize.

Sometimes I think that the whole lawsuit is taking it's toll on fans.  It's been almost 2 years since it began.  Any little thing about any member can set off a fan.  I think that is true for me as well.  Maybe I'm so wrapped up in this.  It seems to be causing friction with my sister (who seems become less interested in TVXQ as time passes).  In fact, I think maybe a few are becoming less interested.  In my personal opinion, I miss the year 2007.  I was fresh with Kpop and things were very peaceful.  I had lots of people to spazz with and it was all fun.  As a fan at that time, I think I was really good.  And Kpop didn't seem so...blah.

This is why I may need a break.  I know that I'm not going to hold up to it though, but if I can get a job I hope that it will at least help to keep me from being on the computer too much.  In the end, I'm trying to decipher what kind of fan I am at this point...though I know it looks pretty obvious.  But I really beg to differ.  I may be very crazy-obsessed, but when it comes to the types of issues I explained above...I may complain and cry and whatnot, but I don't think I'd threaten or anything.  Just stadning idly by and being upset for a couple of days at the lucky girl may be enough.  Ah...such is the hopeless romantic...

There are times when I just feel like abandoning Kpop altogether, but I never want to leave TVXQ/JYJ (as well as other formadible groups) behind since they're like some sort of big interest of mine.  If I can rekindle my 2007 fangirl self, that would be very good.  I know that these issues will bug me for a little while longer, but eventually will dissolve (hopefully).  For now, I shall probably stick around with Changmin stuff for a while.  ^^;;  Until next time, peace out.

JYJ and HoMin Stans Make Me Feel...Bleh :/

There is a Twitter trend going about saying '#wecanttalk'.  So, I came up with a sentence using that topic:

"If you are strictly a JYJ or Homin stan, then I'm afraid #wecanttalk very well"

I tell the truth in this sentence since I've been reading comments between both sets of fans when this whole division began and since recently.  Some might be nice, but majority of the comments I see (especially when it pertains to the other side) tend to be really horrible!  >:/  The funny thing is most of the fans for both sides are newbies so the may not know (or care) about the history behind the members.  But the fans that make me really upset are ones that used to be a fan for all five, but decided to side with one.  I believe these fans are ones that are really only following their bias.  I too love my bias, Changmin, very much and I tend to follow him much more than the other members.  However, I may look more like I support JYJ.  My reason:  because I feel that there should be a sense of justice for them.  Actually, I'm unable to really support all five of them because I have no money to buy either CD, but it's cool.  :3

What set me off to write this post happens to be because a certain I came across a certain commenter's posts in Omonatheydidn't's post about HoMin's new single "I Think U Know".  It wasn't much that would lead me to think bad about her.  Heck, she had a Changmin icon (and I tend to become interested in fans who like Changmin).  But upon looking at her page for LiveJournal...I became a bit aggravated.  She seemed to be an obvious HoMin stan but I felt disappointed that she was a Changmin bias as well.

It reminded me of why I don't go to ContinueTVXQ.  The clip when Yunho heard JYJ's "Be My Girl remix"...a fan had posted saying that she demanded to know who all heard the song and why it was even played in the first place.  But JYJ stans are just as bad.  I used to think that they weren't, but they're just as bad.  When HoMin came on 'TAXI', I read some comments on JYJ3 bashing Yunho and Changmin.

I guess my final note is that it is hard for me to even talk to a stan of either side.  It is really disappointing to see how messed up Cassiopeia has become.  The only fans I find that are really tolerable are OT5 fans, but we tend to be the ones that get shut up the most.  But in the future...hopefully TVXQ will come back as five...and selfishly I shall wish that OT5s can say to the others:  "I told you so."

Well, that is all for this post.  Hopefully some people could see what I was trying to express here.  Until next time, peace out~!

A Huge *Sigh* for the Korean Entertainment

When I first got into Kpop, I was really bedazzled by how cool they look.  They danced a bit more than the Jpop groups I was following, and they looked very pretty (not that Jpop groups aren't pretty either).  I still have trouble singing along to their songs as it is difficult to pronounce words than it is with Japanese.

The group that I followed the most was, of course, TVXQ.  It was something about them that drew me to them and kept me there.  I do remember reading an article about S.M. Entertainment's '5 Year Curse' on any group they harbor, so one time I thought: "What would happen if they disbanded?"  I had hoped that it wouldn't happen, but it did.  After the three members left, things sort of changed for me and Kpop.  It was like I was seeing things rather differently when it came to these companies and their artists.  The biggest thing--and what the bulk of my post is about--is the ostracism of former members in a group from anything in the entertainment industry.  My question is "Why?"  Why do companies try their hardest to make it difficult for an artist who left to get on television or promote anywhere?  Just today, I read some articles about the cast of "Ripley" not going on any television programs because of one problem or another.  However, one of the cast members is Park Yoochun...  =.=;;  And if you've been following this whole lawsuit, you may have noticed that the three members haven't been able to do a proper performance on televison.  And when they are promised to go on a television show, it somehow always gets cancelled.  It's even to the point where C-Jes, their current agency, is a little weary of offers made my television stations because they wonder if they're going to cancel on them too.  It reminds me of S.M. Entertaiment trying to gain signatures for a petition to keep JYJ off of any show. They stated that if the three members get back on television, it would "damage the Hallyu Wave".  I can't see how their appearance on television would do something like that.  I'd watch them regardless if it damaged the wave or not.  I know most fans think that S.M. Entertainment is not behind every little fault the three members are experiencing simply because they aren't supposed to be messing with them, but if that were so...why couldn't they just let the members see how much they were making in the beginning?  That is what this was originally all about.  That and to give more leeway on their contracts.  And it would've saved everyone the trouble.
