#15YearswithTVXQ

Greetings, everyone!  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  I hope that you all are enjoying yourselves with friends and family.  It's been a good while since I've posted anything on here, and I feel really bad about that.  But today is a special day in Kpop fandom.

December 26th, 2018 marks fifteen years since the debut of legendary status Kpop group, TVXQ!

On December 26th, 2003 a group of five young men debuted on stage with 'Oh Holy Night' featuring BoA and 'Hug' at a joint concert for Britney Spears and BoA.  Since then they've exploded in popularity all over Asia and became one of the top Kpop acts of second generation Kpop.  TVXQ consisted of Kim Junsu (Xiah), Park Yoochun (Micky), Kim Jaejoong (Youngwoong/Hero), Shim Changmin (Choikang/ Max), and Jung Yunho (U-Know).  Around 2009, TVXQ started showing signs of the eventual split amongst them, leaving two members (Yunho and Changmin) actively promoting as TVXQ and the other three forming a new group called JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu).

Being a fan that still supports all five, I am really proud of the acheivements that they have made and even continue to make.  I have been a fan of theirs for eleven out of the fifteen years they've been active, and they are my bias group in Kpop.  With every year that their anniversary passes, I still think that it will be the year when they come back on stage as five and reenact their debut stage once again in those high school uniforms (or some updated version of them).  It's a silly wish, but I can only imagine the ugly crying I'll do if it becomes a reality.

So whether you are a well-seasoned or brand-spanking-new fan to Kpop, I would recommend you check out TVXQ and JYJ and reminisce old times with me.

I've Been Gone Waaayyy Too Long

Greetings, everyone!  ( ゚▽゚)/  You thought I'd never come back, right?  Well, I probably was not going to.  I actually considered getting rid of this blog a few times, but then decided against it because someone might actually enjoy reading my posts.  So why is it that almost four years later I decide to post?  What was keeping me from doing so?  There are a few reasons:

Laziness
My ultimate enemy.  Most days I never really want to do anything, so I don't.  Then the whole day goes by and I wonder why I can't ever be productive.

Work
In my four year absence from this blog, I managed to get a job!  \(^__^)/  It was great in the beginning (I can buy stuff now!), but the inconsistent scheduling has been making things really difficult--especially as of late.  This may be the main reason why I won't be posting as frequently as I was.

Other Media
From watching various YouTubers to retweeting a whole lot of things on Twitter I have been quite active in other parts of social media.  I think most of my activity lies within Twitter and Tumblr.  I've also gotten into reading doujinshi and fanfiction.  (^_6)

So what's in store for my blog now?  Well, be prepared to see a little less Kpop on it and a bit more anime.  I'm sure I can make like 100+ posts with all the stuff I've gotten into these past (almost) four years.

Until next post!
