2010's End and 2011's Beginning

I'm sure that by now millions of you have already brought in the new year.  Here in the part of the world where I live, there is about half an hour left.  :3  We are now heading towards the Year of the Rabbit, right?  If you have all read the manga 'Fruits Basket', you know that it is Momiji this year!

So, how was this year for you?  In my average, day-to-day life I'd have to say it was pretty good...except for not having a job.  u_u  But in my fan girl life, IT SUCKED!!!  This was worse than last year if you know what I mean.  But I seriously hope that next year will be better.  Thus, I have compiled a list of resolutions for this year:

1) GET A JOB!!!
2) Be a better person (and fan) both mentally and physically
3) Meet Shim Changmin  =^^=

I'm sure I have more in my head, but these three seem to stand out the most.  If you also have a New Year's Resolution, let us all try to follow them this time to further better ourselves, okay?  Now go ahead and pop open a bottle of sparkling juice~!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!

Just a Little Drama

I did say that I was going to post a list of dramas that I thought were really good, right?  Well, I have devised a list.  Granted that my judgement of how awesome a drama is may not be that way to you.  ^_^;  But it's okay.  There are alot of good dramas out there, and I have not watched many.  These are ones that I have seen and made me want to see more.  XD  On to the list!

Japan
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi)
Hana Yori Dango
Hana Yori Dango Returns
Tsubasa

South Korea
My Too Perfect Sons
IRIS
Boys Over Flowers
Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Taiwan
Meteor Garden (also known as Boys Over Flowers)
Meteor Garden II
Hana Kimi

Well, I thought my list would be longer that this.  I guess I haven't watches as many as I thought.  Well, I hope that you all do check these ones out.  They are all pretty good (especially all versions of Boys Over Flowers).  And if you have seen some, why not comment about them?  ^_^

Why?

Just a few minutes ago, I had watched the CF of Yunho and Changmin's comeback.  Initially, my reaction was: "Hn?  What just happened? O.o"  Fans were saying that they were so excited that they started crying, screaming, or jumping up and down.  But I didn't get that excited about it.  I don't know what it was, but I wasn't happy.  Granted that I felt nothing when JYJ first began releasing things back in April, but it seems like my mood shifts alot.  I don't want to say that I hate the members for it because I don't want to even go there.  And, of course, I want to help support them all the best I can.  It looks like I feel better towards JYJ because they've had it hard.  But I don't want to be considered bitter towards HoMin either.  Heck, my bias is on that side.  And I know trhat it is their turn to do some singing because JYJ was up there in the first half of the year anyway.  So why should I be like this?  Like I said in previous entries, I truly think it has something to do with comments from fans.  "For those who still believe in 5, stop it.  Grow up and face reality.  Go ahead and choose a side." is what it seems like most are saying.  So, if TVXQ does come back as five again...what are you gonna do?  How are you gonna act at that time?  This is why I don't visit SM TOWN's homepage for TVXQ anymore.  One fan even suggested replacing JYJ on there.  *sigh*  I guess the bottom line with me is that I need to stop reading fan's negativity and support them how I deem fit.  But I have one question...is it okay to have a little dislike for them?  I remember Yunho saying in one of their Banjun dramas that if you can find ten things that you dislike about a person, it actually makes for a better relationship.  I think I am now coming to realize that there are maybe a few things about them (as well as other groups) that will irk me.  Can any of you find things about your favorite groups that will irk you?  I know that my bias, Changmin, also said that he doesn't want to be EVERYTHING to his fans.  He wants them to live their lives but not make him the center of it.  Now this is something that I see is really sweet, and I want to fulfill this.  >:D

So, after reading this post...what kind of fan do you think I am?  What kind do you think you are?  Mature, childish, bitter...anti (o.O)?  I'm hoping I've leaned more to a mature one.  My mind is doing this number now --> @_@ so I shall stop.  But I shall continue to make myself a better person and a better fan.  Hopefully I didn't turn this into a pity party.

Topics for Today

Hello fellow readers~!  I just wanted to post on a few things today.  Ready?

First of all, my sister and I finally managed to finish watching all of "Sungkyunkwan Scandal"!  Yay!  It was a really good series.  The acting was superb.  And even though it was Park Yoochun's first time in a true drama, I was really impressed with how he acted out his character.  Of course everyone else did superb as well.  :3  But because my sister is Yoochun biased, she was freaking out whenever he had to kiss the main actress.  If you haven't watched this drama yet, I suggest you should. In fact, I think I'll post a list of dramas that you all should watch.

Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary!

First of all...Merry Christmas!  :D  I hope everyone's was superb.  I received lots of things that are useful.  But I still wanted those TVXQ albums (the Korean ones).  It's been a good while since I've spent something on them.  Speaking of them, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!  It feels awkward with just two celebrating, doesn't it?  Well, I do remember that JYJ did it last year so it's the other member's turn.  Maybe next year they'll do it together?   Eight is my favorite number because when turned on its side it means infinity.  So, I hope that they can at least celebrate together.  Ah...I remember when I first saw their debut stage performance.  It was so cute~!  And I fell in love with 'Oh Holy Night' after hearing them sing it.  And it was even in English!  And then listening to the other Christmas songs they sang.  Dang, now I want 'The Christmas Gift from TVXQ".

For the past several months I've been wondering how their anniversary would be spent this year.  Seven is supposed to be a lucky number.  Is it safe to assume that this year it wasn't so lucky for all of them?  They just seem so down.  Even when they are putting up a smile, there must be something gnawing at the back of their mind.  But I am thankful that none of them are so emotionally unstable that they might think of hurting themself (i.e.-suicidal)  This is exactly why us fans really need to stop bickering.  We may drive them to it if we're not careful.

On another note, I heard the song 'Athena'!  At first, I wasn't so into it.  But after hearing it a few times, it grew on me.  Also, I heard that the Korean FTC told SM to revise contracts.  I don't know if it is for one or for all artists.  Hopefully it will be for all.  Now I know some of you may be wondering if this will let JYJ come back to them?  I don't think so.  It seems clear that they don't want to work with SM anymore.  BUT they still want to work with HoMin...outside of SM.  That is also my selfish wish.  If only HoMin could leave.  :(  I know that they want to keep TVXQ alive.  But I would still call them TVXQ even if they couldn't hang on to the name.  How do you all feel about that?

Well, I shall end here.  I don't want to go any further with the issue.  Please continue to enjoy Christmas, TVXQ 7th Anniversary, or any other festivities that may be going on right now.  And let's all hope that 2011 will be so much better than this year ever was.  Peace out~!

My Mad Drawing Skillz!

Wow...I've been posting quite a few pics lately, huh?  Well, I have some here that are very personal to me.  I wanted to share them with you because they are of my fan art of my biased group, TVXQ.  I was really hoping to give them this as a gift if I ever saw them (a copy of course).  But imagine me at a Korean airport (Gimpo most likely) with a huge art portfolio in hand and trying to give them this artwork?  Anyway, I drew these back in the spring of 2009, and I am really proud of it.  Look!  It even won first place!  :D  Too bad it didn't go to state competition.  But some of my friends and fellow classmates at the time did say that it should have gone there.  Oh well.  Here they are!  I'd also like to thank YukariiChangmin for making a watermark to put on it.  If you want to tell/show others about my artwork please, please, PLEASE credit me.  Thank you very much~!

A Suprise Within the Cassiopeia Constellation

There was an article that came out about a month ago about there being two nebulae within the Cassiopeia constellation.  Apparently, they have been called the "Heart" and "Soul" nebulae because on the left is a figurative "heart" and on the right is a more realistic one.  It kind of reminds me of TVXQ's 'Heart, Mind, and Soul' song, doesn't it?  ^_^  I just thought I should post this.

Salvaged Blog #3!

Okay...with this one, I wrote it like a letter to Changmin.  So, yeah...  ^_^;

I know that this may sound silly, and you have probably heard all this before, but I would like to write this message to you.  I really wish I could send you a real letter, but I don't know the address.  And even if I did, the letter would probably head straight for the trash can or the fireplace.  :3  I see you are really busy these days.  SM is working the living daylights out of you and the other members it seems.  But this is the line of work you like to do, ne?  To be famous....it seems like a lot of responsibility.  I don't think I could handle doing that.  I'd like to be well-known, but not super famous.

Lately, Jungsu-oppa has been referring to himself as a doll.  But he isn't one.  He is human.  It may be true that he is just another pretty face to SM, but he isn't to people that care for him.  Do you think that way too, Changmin-oppa?  There are so many times when I look at pictures of you that you seem so emotionless.  It makes me wonder what you are thinking sometimes.  Aren't there days when you just wish that you could just get away from it all?

Ne, ne oppa...if it is really you that I am talking to on Myspace, then I am sorry for sending you multiple messages.  It is just that you haven't been online in a long time, and I freaked when you and I were on at the same time.  I just had to send you something.  But now, I realize that there were other fans that also want a reply from you.  Sorry for taking up your time.  I bet that every time you log in, you have hundreds of messages, comments, and friend requests.  And you cannot finish them all.

But it was nice that you responded to me (as short as it was).  I was happy.  You see, I really want to talk to you not on a fan's level, but on a friend's level.  But you may just think of me as just another fan…an American fan....an AFRICAN-AMERICAN fan at that.  *sigh* You see how I put myself down?  I frequently do this sort of thing.

Well, I hope that you and the other members do well.  And I hope to see you one day.  Maybe we can become friends...or you can become my boyfriend!  LOL!  >////<  Please don't ever change how you are now.  Not for anybody.  Don't worry what other people or fans think.  Even if that means the downfall of your career as a singer...remember that I will still be behind you, cheering you on.  Peace out, Changmin-oppa!

Salvaged Blog #2!

Wow!  Three blogs in one day!  I will make this my last for the day.  Okay, I have stated over and over that I like Changmin so much.  But I haven't told you something else....I also have others that pull at my heartstrings (but not as hard as Changmin).  There are four more that do this.  They are Cho Kyuhyun, Kim Ryeowook, Kim Kibum (all three from Super Junior), and Kim Jaejoong (TVXQ).  Yeah...I say I like them, but I don't watch stuff on them like I do for Changmin.  So it is like I don't like them.  >_<  What am I to do?  I feel like a bad person.  Kyuhyun makes a close second in my fondness.  It sounds quite crazy really.

Heck yeah!  A pic of Changmin AND Kyuhyun!  Now if I were there....  >_<  Changmin looks like a hot mess though.  LOL!  ^_^  I love looking at pics when the artists of SM Entertainment share the same stage.  Especially when TVXQ and Super Junior sing together.  I tell ya, if they do a full album of them singing together, I would buy it in a heartbeat.  But one of the versions of TVXQ's Mirotic album has Ryeowook and Kyuhyun singing with Changmin and (I think) Junsu.  Now I have more of a reason to buy it.  But in any case, even though I like Changmin so much, I will not forget about the others that also pull at my heartstrings.  :3

A Salvaged Blog!

So, I was looking through some of the things in my computer, and I came across three blogs that I had posted when I had a Cyworld.  Sadly, the site's U.S. branch had to shut down so I saved three blogs that are very meaningful.  I thought I could share them with you here.  I can't quite remember the exact dates, but I think it was around late 2008.  Now...on to number one~!

Okay, many of you who read my blogs are probably like..."Wow, she is a crazy, obsessed fangirl"  That does have some truth, but I don't stalk my favorite boybands.  And even if I did live in the same vicinity as them, I don't think I would.  Anyway....so many of my thoughts are filled with my ever favorite person, Shim Changmin.  Ranging from school to intimate relations, almost all of my thoughts involve him.  If he is reading this, he may be a little uncomfortable with it.  :3

Dear E.L.F.

As an unofficial fan, I can tell that some of you are a bit shaken with the news that was just put out about Hangeng.  I know that everyone wanted SuJu to remain as 13 (or 15 in my case), but I can honestly say that I am very happy for Hangeng.  :D  Like in the letter I wrote for Cassiopeia, don't start fighting because of it.  If all SuJu members go solo, I'd still support them and buy their stuff.  Now THAT would be alot of money~!  But really...with this news, it gave me hope for JYJ and HoMin.

Ever since I've heard things about artists under SM, it made me wonder how they can be treated that way.  Water diets, strenuous training, etc.  Now before you say that SM should be praised for gettting all their artists that far, I'd have to say I agree with you on that footing.  BUT I honestly do think that they can do well on their own from here on out.  It is just up to us if we are willing to support them at that time or not.  Would you be willing to do that if they all left SM?  I know I would.  Also like I said in the letter to Cassiopeia, even if they have to lose the name, they're always still a member to me.

A fan did bring up a good thought:  "What will the other members think"?  I hope they take this as a sign that they too can do it and still do well.  Although I am a bit concerned with Teukie because of how his emotions were in the past...  :o  Please don't take this as something bad as well, SuJu~!

Again, I hope that I have not offended anyone.  I am trying to be unbiased (even though it sounds like I am, huh?)  Just like for TVXQ/JYJ and now SuJu...and for all artists facing problems:  ALWAYS KEEEP THE FAITH

U.S. unofficial E.L.F.,
~Myndless~

Dear Cassiopeia...

For starters...I am an unofficial Cassiopeia from the U.S., so I may be considered "not knowing the truth".  But I'm sure there are a few other fans with similar thoughts to what I am about to express.  I've been wanting to make a post like this for a while now, but I didn't know how I could word it without offending people.  Then I was like: "Aw, what the heck...I'll just go with the flow".

As you all know, TVXQ has gone through an extremely tough times ever since summer of 2009.  It's been a gueling time ever since, huh?  There are times when we've had a total mind meltdown I'm sure.  I've heard there have been lots of arguments on various fansites and whatnot.  Sometimes it gets so bad that it becomes difficult to enjoy the old and new stuff they put out.  Fans seem to be choosing sides as well.  They state that one or the other may be the vicitm.  Well, I would consider all 5 to be victims.  I'm still unaware as to who may be in the wrong.  Heck, maybe all of them are.  It's still not for certain because not much is placed out there for the fans to read.  But if we did have all of the truth laid out, how would we react?  I'm sure that it shouldn't be like this.  How come we can't just follow both groups as if they are still working as one?  Why should we rear our ugly heads and bash members we've been following for over 5 years?  Does this mean you didn't like that member from the get-go?

What Gets My Blood Pumpin'?

Heart racing...
Jumping at every sound you hear...
Not knowing what's lurking behind that door...

That is generally what you would feel when playing any of the games from the "Fatal Frame" series!  :D  When I first heard about "Fatal Frame", I told myself that I was never going to play them.  Then a friend of mine showed me and my sister the first one.  She told us that we should play it, so we tried it out.  It was scary as heck!  o.O  I'm sure any of you that have played it can testify to that.  However, it wasn't me that played the first one.  I got the honor of playing the second installment (borrowed by another friend)...and in October too.  It was scarier that the first one!  It's got a higher game rating than the last one too (rated 'M').  Despite me freaking out when advancing into the game, I really liked it.  But come bedtime...

A Glimpse at My Reaction to TVXQ's Woes

Wow!  It is already December!  :o  I've truly been slacking on not posting as often as I should.  There are so many topics I would like to talk about.  For example, today's topic will be quite heavy as it pertains to my bias group: TVXQ.  I'm sure most if not all of you have heard about all the controversy surrounding all members.  Well, here is my complete reaction from then until now:
