Wow! It is already December! :o I've truly been slacking on not posting as often as I should. There are so many topics I would like to talk about. For example, today's topic will be quite heavy as it pertains to my bias group: TVXQ. I'm sure most if not all of you have heard about all the controversy surrounding all members. Well, here is my complete reaction from then until now:
When I first heard that Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu had left SM Entertainment because of contract issues and not being able to see how much they were making, I was happy! I was like: "Yeah, you guys go!" I had thought that Yunho and Changmin would also speak on their behalf. Then a few days later, I read that Yunho and Changmin sided with SM on this. Then I was like: "...Oh...wait, what? Why?! o.O" After that they weren't allowed to perform in Korea but they still had Japan...until April of 2010. Tohoshinki's group activities were put on 'indefinate' hiatus and a bit later Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu, under Avex (in Japan), formed the group JYJ. I never really thought anything of it, so I was okay with it. Things were going great until Avex dropped JYJ because of a problem concerning the Korean company the group had signed with a while after being formed.
But I really didn't start paying attention to JYJ until I heard they were coming to the U.S. to work and perform with Kanye West and Rodney 'Darkhild' Jerkins. I was really happy about that because Kanye and Darkchild are not only well known artists in America, but they are also African-American. :D It makes me so proud that they were working together. But when JYJ were coming to perform the songs here in the states, they were denied. So what did they do? They paid for it all out of their pockets. I thought that was a very noble thing for them to do. I still wish I could have gone to one of those free concerts. By this time I was feeling like no matter what JaeChunSu were doing, they always had a road block. But their concerts here in the U.S. were successful. Now, when SM Entertainment announced that TVXQ was coming back with only 2 members, I was quite bummed with the news. I didn't know how I should react. It took quite a while for me to get over that feeling, and every now and then it comes back. It just depends on what fans say is all. Either way, I'll have to buy two albums sometime next year. ^_^
To this day, I constantly wonder why Yunho and Changmin stayed behind, what was holding them back? I understand that they may have their own reasons and all. But something still just doesn't sit well with me. I just don't understand why none of the five can say what's on their mind about it and what they want to happen. That way at least I can have a better view of why things turned out the way they did. Are they afraid of what fans will say? *sigh* Every time I think about this whole thing, my head hurts. @_@ Now I just hope it will end in a way where all 5 members are happier.
December 7th is the next court date...I just pray that things will turn up for all. I'm sure you can expect another post concerning TVXQ in the near future.
