For starters...I am an unofficial Cassiopeia from the U.S., so I may be considered "not knowing the truth". But I'm sure there are a few other fans with similar thoughts to what I am about to express. I've been wanting to make a post like this for a while now, but I didn't know how I could word it without offending people. Then I was like: "Aw, what the heck...I'll just go with the flow".
As you all know, TVXQ has gone through an extremely tough times ever since summer of 2009. It's been a gueling time ever since, huh? There are times when we've had a total mind meltdown I'm sure. I've heard there have been lots of arguments on various fansites and whatnot. Sometimes it gets so bad that it becomes difficult to enjoy the old and new stuff they put out. Fans seem to be choosing sides as well. They state that one or the other may be the vicitm. Well, I would consider all 5 to be victims. I'm still unaware as to who may be in the wrong. Heck, maybe all of them are. It's still not for certain because not much is placed out there for the fans to read. But if we did have all of the truth laid out, how would we react? I'm sure that it shouldn't be like this. How come we can't just follow both groups as if they are still working as one? Why should we rear our ugly heads and bash members we've been following for over 5 years? Does this mean you didn't like that member from the get-go?
I know that there was an issue concerning who would have the name. To me, I couldn't care less about it. They could have all gone solo and I still would have supported them all because in my heart, I knew they would always be TVXQ. It just would have been mighty expensive to buy albums though (Lol). But I still hope for the day when they can sing as five on stage together again. It may be a faraway dream, but who knows? I know that some fans were wondering now that if HoMin were TVXQ would that mean they got all of Cassiopeia. I think not. We're still shared by all 5, right? :D And I also remember reading that some fans wondered if SM would try to replace JYJ with others. With that, I'd have to say they better not!
I know that I never would have expected anything like this happening to them. It's kind of like the Roman Empire: they were a great empire, but they had a really bad fall. But now that I look back on it, I remember reading an article about what a H.O.T. fan had said about TVXQ when they were rising in popularity. She was concerned that they may meet the same fate as their predecessors. And it seems to have happened. If you look at how H.O.T. disbanded, it is totally similar...so much so that it is eerie. Now it makes me wonder how the fans of H.O.T. felt at the time and how they moved past it.
Honestly, I am really exhausted with this whole thing. Who would have known that being a Cassie (official or not) would be so difficult? We've lost quite a few fans this year too. from 800,000 to a little more than 750,000 left. We're still on top, but at this rate...we may lost it. So, I request to you all to Keep The Faith and to follow ALL members. No matter what side your bias is on. Since mine is Changmin, I keep up with HoMin...but I seem to be more concerned for JYJ because they've had it rough. I'm not so much worried for HoMin because I know that SM will smooth things out for them. But I read an article yesterday that made me happy. It said that JYJ is willing to reconcile! But there's still this wall... (I'm sure most know what they may be referring to) What Yoochun said really made me happy and nod my head. I thought to myself: "This is what we should all keep in mind as Cassies". Listen~! I know we are all frustrated, burnt out, bitter, and other various emotions are running through our bodies. But we must stay positive for the sake of all our members. I suggest trying to keep up with all of them, looking back at old stuff they did, watching the new stuff all of them dish out, and stuff like that. Keeping a cheery attitude would be wonderful. After all...their anniversary is coming very soon. What are you gonna do on that day?
I hope that I was able to convey my thoughts well enough. I'm sure there may be some opinionated stuff in there. I apologize if I have offended any of you. I just want Cassiopeia to be reunited in helping our members and not rendering them any further. We are the strongest fanbase in the world! I'm sure we can pull through this if we just stay calm about things from here on out. We can do this...right?
U.S. unofficial Cassie,

Hi, it`s YF, I had to post as anonymous for some reason ^^ I love this post! Not just because your thoughts are very similar to mine, but because I`m so impressed at the way you manage to be completely unbiased and lovingly involved at the same time. I know you`re not expecting a lot of readers and comments, but how I wish every DBSK fan would get the chance to read this! Like what you said about how it doesn`t matter who gets to keep the TVXQ name and that you would have supported all of them if each and everyone decided to go solo all of a sudden - only it would become so much more expensive to buy CDs then! So true, and so funny, and put in a way that rids us of all the nonsense we usually hear in relation to this discussion...
ReplyDeletePlease write more and the followers will surely come!:)
But...is it really true that the fanbase has decreased by more than 100.000 fans?! I had now idea it was so many. That`s horrid! Okay, YF, time to spread the word about DBSK. You`ve been a bit lazy, haven`t you? xD Always keep the faith,~Myndless~and thanks so much for having me! ^^
Hello, YF~! Yeah, I changed my settings so that anybody can comment. Originally you needed to either have a Google account, WordPress, etc. Thanks for saying that about my post. I really hope that lots of fans read this too. I tried to be unbiased in it, but it still looks like I'm more for JYJ. ^^; About the fanbase dropping in numbers...yeah it's true. I had read it somewhere that it had dropped by 50,000 fans so we are at about a little over 750,000 officially signed in fans.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a pleasure having you around. Please stop by again. :D
Sure I will, come see us too please? www.dbskalways.wordpress.com
ReplyDelete- under construction, but currently open!
Oh, yeah, that would be 50.000, not 100.000 - sorry about that. (It`s very late and my head has stopped functioning!)Still...it`s too many.
But I have great faith in the boys, not the least because of posts like yours.
Thanks ^^
