Spazzing With TVXQ! What's Been Going Down, Guys? :)

Ya~h!  It is great to see the members of my bias Kpop group doing things despite their companies being big buttholes.  In this post, I shall talk about the recent stuff going on.  :D  Let's start with Jaejoong!

Haha, I wouldn't mind being interviewed by this man!
Chyeah!  I am really excited to see Jaejoong on television...wait...I don't have SBS!  Dang it!  :(  But I am still glad that he will get to act once again.  And this time it is on Korean television.  The last drama he was in was "Sunao Ni Naretakute".  But then again, he was in that movie, "Heaven's Postman".  The funny thing is that I have never watched both of those productions.  Anyway, there have been some pictures of Jaejoong in his character that have come out (much like the one above).  I think there have been a few complaints that he doesn't look as beautiful as he used to.  But in his defense I'd have to say that he still looks wonderful.  He is getting older after all.  I'd have to say that it might be because of lack of sleep why his eye bags are back, but whenever he does sport black hair, they tend to show more prominent.  Either way, I won't constitue it as a turn-off from him.  I do hope that the drama does do well.  Jaejoong, hwaiting~!

Gotta look for this poster!
I am also glad to see Yoochun working in another drama.  It seems that is one of the only ways they'll be able to be seen on Korean television.  With "Goodbye, Mrs. Ripley" winding down, I hear that it has done a wonderful job.  Thus, I must watch it.  And since I enjoyed Yoochun's acting in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal", I think I'll enjoy it in this drama as well.  It is rather saddening that he wasn't able to help promote his activities through appearances on television variety shows (because the three members are still being blocked), but it didn't stop the drama from receiving quite a bit of praise~!  Yoochun, hwaiting!  And I hope he'll get better from his recently diagnosed medical condition.

I'm sure Mozart would be proud for Junsu making him better known~!
Ah, Mr. "Xiahzart"!  I am really proud of Junsu for being requested to be in so many musicals.  And he's really good at it!  If I could, I would've went to see him play as Mozart.  So far he's been in "Mozart" like three times and one called "Tears of Heaven".  There was another one for "Mozart" with a special from a famous musical composer, Mr. Levay as well.  I am also rather excited to see him have  a cameo appearance in a drama called "The Scent of a Woman".  You know if a drama places any super famous person in there, it'll get more viewers.  Haha, I might just watch this drama for that purpose.  ^^;;  But what is really exciting is that Junsu's BFF, Eunhyuk of Super Junior, has added him on Twitter.  Do you know how many fans went ballistic when they heard that?  I am very happy as well.  But this shows that Yunho and Changmin can also get a Twitter account, and they can all communicate that way.  I don't see the harm in that.  The only problem would be fans who are so against the members seeing each other again or the companies somehow making it so that they can't communicate via Twitter.  =_=;;

"On the cover of the Rolling Stones!  Gonna get my picture on the cover!"
As for Yunho and Changmin, they are doing well.  As the pic above shows, they've graced the cover of the "Rolling Stones".  If I am not mistaken, it is a big deal?  I mean the one here in the U.S. is a big magazine (or at least it was back in the day).  It would have been nice if all five members could have been on the cover though.  :(  Other than that, they've recently been to Paris for the SM Town tour, and some time in September, they'll be in Australia.  Aside from all the appearances in magazines, t.v. shows, and whatnot, they just released another Japanese single called 'Superstar'.And just after it's release, it reached #1 on Japanese charts!  As usual, they look really good!  It's just...autotune.  I know it's like the first time that it is apparent that they've used it ('Crazy Love' had just a tad) but I hear it so much in American songs, so it's rather annoying.  Very early this morning I watched the music video for the song and I now have this whole dialogue for the opening sequence.  Here's the video below the break:

The Time Has Come...

*insert creepy music*  Well, the day has finally arrived...  >:D  On July 18th, many noona (older) fans were very eager and have been anticipating this very day.  Why?  Well, the youngest member of SHINee has become legal.  He is 18 now and the prison doors have flown open!  Now that Taemin is of legal age, fans can now fantasize about him without having to feel guilty about being some sort of pedophile.  I am one of those fans.

Not very recent, but still rather eye-catching.  XD

While I do like to see some skin from time to time, I don't think I'm ready to see Taemin wearing clothes that expose much or him ripping his shirt on stage.  It's still rather awkward since he still looks so freakin adorable.  But it looks like he is changing before my eyes.  O.O  HIs face in recent photos looks really different.  But before I assume things, I am just going to say that he is growing into his physique.  I suppose that is what you would say.  Much like how Changmin has changed...and we all know how HOT he looks.  >_<

All I can say is Happy 18th Birthday Taemin~!  I hope to see you also in person.  You have made this noona fan proud.  ^_^

Dear Cassiopeia...Part 2

This here is my supposed inspirational letter to Cassiopeia.  :D

Ah...Cassiopeia.  My bias fandom.  You can be crazy-as-heck, but seeing the red ocean makes me proud to be a part of it--even if it is unofficial.  And we even have another section: BigEast.  We are still the biggest fandom in the world...but only by a slight margin now.  We have lots of pride I suppose.  But do you know the story of Cassiopeia according to Greek legend?  Cassiopeia was a queen known for her beauty...and her vanity/pride.  Later in the story, Poseidon punishes her by placing her upside down in a chair for all eternity (the 'W' in the sky).  Here is a better synopsis here.  But most of you aren't like that...are you?  Surely we don't act vain and prideful all the time...  ^^;;

Well, by the end of July, we will be entering our 3rd year of this awful mess known as 'the lawsuit'.  Would you believe it'll have been two full years of not seeing TVXQ as a five-member group?

I'm certain that this whole mess is totally messing with some of you.  While most of the fans may have decided to choose a side, there are others that still wait for the day for all five members to come back.  I am one of those fans.  However, the constant fights between the stans of JYJ and the stans of HoMin do make it difficult.  Not to mention the external pressures (i.e.- other groups mentioning TVXQ in a good or bad way, media, etc) make things quite sensitive and sometimes we just react without thinking.  It's just one thing after another, and it's getting pretty hard to Keep the Faith, huh?  I'm sure some of you are also losing patience and thus either going on hiatus, switching fandoms, or just completely abandoning them altogether.  I can see that in some of the people that I used to spazz with.  It's rather lonely nowadays.  :(  I'm sure most of you fans feel this way too?

But in order to battle this sadness, a fan can always look back on the good old days with some old YouTube clips.  I know it is really hard for us fans to wait this long.  I know I'd love it if this could end very soon.  Imagine how things will be when they do come back together (I'm even more curious on the reaction of the stans on both sides >:D)  All I can say is that I pray that no matter what, you continue to love all five of them and support them until the end.  We wanna see this again, right:

Of course the best thing to do is pray and pray often.  So, let's do that okay?  :3  We gotta try to be the best fans we can be...if not for ourselves then for the members.  Let's just hope that things will get better for everyone very soon.

An unofficial fan,
~Myndless~

My Otaku Side...

Well, as many of you may know from my posts, I am very much into Kpop.  But did you know that I am also into anime?  It's probably because I don't talk about it much.  You see, I used to be a big otaku (fan) of anime and manga, but it seems to be dwindling.  The same goes for video games.

I don't watch any of the new ones that come out, and I rarely watch the ones that I already own.  It's like I'm more focused on Kpop celebs more than anything else right now, and when it comes to spazzing...I'd rather talk more about Kpop than anime.  Not only that, but I used to watch anime for the cute boys and fantasize that if they were real, I'd date them. But now that I've seen Changmin, I've totally lost that idea. ^^;;  It's not like I've totally lost interest in anime, but I've been into it for 10+ years and I was just wanting to give Kpop the same chance.  Sadly, my fellow Kpop spazzers (my sister and cousin and a few friends) seem to be dwindling and moving back into anime.  Nothing wrong with that, but it is rather lonely.  :(

My lack of anime and manga also doesn't mean that I have given up my dream of becoming a manga-ka (comic artist) either.  Sure, I don't draw as often as I should.  But there will be a day when I do.  Right now, I'm just focused on other stuff.  Besides...I'm rather slow and a bit lazy to draw the boxes, so I know I'd probably never reach the deadlines.

After thinking about it for several days, I've concluded some reasons why I'm losing interest in anime to begin with:
  • Too many people are into it now (it's not like how it used to be 10 years ago)
  • My television is messing up, so I can't watch any of my DVDs
  • This whole lawsuit with TVXQ vs SM is keeping me to Kpop
With that last point...if SM would just give up already and end the lawsuit and everything went back to it's normal way, I'd be at ease knowing the members are okay and dive into anime and manga for a while.

Well, that is my stance on anime.  I don't watch it often, but I haven't totally aboandoned it.  It may not be a subject that I talk about much, but I don't mind talking a bit about it from time to time.  Well, that is all.  Peace out~!

Showing Love To My Other Favorite Jpop Groups: Hey!Say!JUMP!

Well, I really don't know much about them...except that all ten of them are younger than me.  Yup, all TEN of them.  They are under the label known for making boy bands in Japan, Johnny's Entertaiment.  I have heard of them for quite some time, but never actually saw a music video of them until a year ago.  You can view Dreams Come True here.  (Credits to whoever loaded the video)

Yeah...I know...  ^_^;;  They are an adorable bunch of kids.  It's similar to my liking of Taemin of SHINee.  But underneath that cute exterior are some sexy beasts:

When I saw this pic, my first reaction was O__O  Then my second was: "What the f***!  They're too young to be showing their bodies!"  One is like 15 for cryin' out loud!  ...But it was still sexy.  Though, I think it is a thing in Johnny's Entertainment to do things like this.  Kinda reminds me a bit of SM Entertainment in S. Korea.

Hey!Say!JUMP! has also been split into a few subgroups too.  The only two I know of are Hey!Say!BEST! (which I think is comprised of the older members) and NYC Boys (which has a few of the members).  There is one song from NYC Boys that I do like, and it is of the same title:

Video Credit:

Haha, I guess I'm quite intrigued by them.  But I als feel bad for one of the members.  He is Hikaru Yaotome (the second to last member on the second row of the pic above).  You see, his hometown was in the city of Sendai...which was caught in the midst of the terrible tsunami back in March.  Right after that happened, he couldn't get in touch with his family who still lived there.  I'm not sure if he has gotten any word for their safety, but I pray that he did get some contact from them.  There has also been recent controversy that their youngest member, Ryotaro Morimoto, had been caught smoking via some old pics of when he was 14-15 (he's 16 now).  Needless to say, all his future activities with the goup have been suspended for quite a while.  =_=;;

So while this group has a bunch of youngsters in it, I'll just say that they're more like little brothers (or sons, lol) that I watch every now and then.  If you'd like, you can check them out too~!  ^o^

~Myndless~ Ramblings of the 'Same Old, Same Old'

While surfing DBSKALWAYS, the website I fancy, I came across an article that was shared from another site called JYJFanTalk.  This post was borrowed from the original author of another blog.  While reading it, I was getting the notion that she's:  single all her life, doesn't wear make-up, and wonders why her dating life sucks.  So I was like "Yeah, that kinda sounds like me."  But then she got into a subject that most fans tend to push into the back of their minds until it is brought to their attention:  any member of a group they follow becoming romantically involved with someone.  And to make it a rather 'harsh reality', she used TVXQ/JYJ as an example.

Now I have heard this said many times:  "The members need love too."  And I am one to agree with that.  It's just...well...I wanted to be that one special girl to administer that love (to Changmin, of course).  After reading posts like that, I usually get that sense of "Well, dang...now what am I supposed to do?" or "Should I just give up on that notion of sharing my life with him since it seems so useless to keep wishing?"  I get upsetting/melancholy thoughts whenever I read things of that nature.  And it sticks around for quite some time.  The worst things are when people make comments like "Oh, I'm glad he/she is finally getting some/tapping that".  -_-;;

Of course, I'm gonna use Changmin as my example because I love him.  Actually I am still at a loss to even say it is love or should I call it lust?  Anyway...so, when he does get a girlfriend, how am I gonna act?  Well, chances are he's probably got one now.  I know he's too handsome to stay single for very long.  And since he's so ninja about his private life, it's rather difficult to know for sure.  But if it is announced publicly, I may be quite upset.  But if it were just ar normal girl, I may be less upset than if it were a celebrity.  However, if it is announced that he got secretly married and has a child already...guess how I'm gonna feel?  :(   But it's not like I'm gonna be so mand that I'll find a way to harm their loved ones.  I don't think I'd have the gall to do that.  However, I'd probably forever wish I was in her place at that given moment.  But then I should also think of it this way:  If I do get into a relationship with Changmin...imagine how many hearts I'll break because of it.  :(

Salvaged Blog #4: Why I Like--No--LOVE Shim Changmin

Greetings!  This is a salvaged post from my Myspace blog.  It's still up there, but I figured I'd share it here.  This is back in 2008 I believe.  :D

Well, I haven't done one of these in a good while.  :3  As all of you know, I have been so very much into South Korean male celebs.  My ultimate favorite being Shim Changmin of TVXQ.  It is astounding how much I really do love this man.  I am not sure if it is actual love or a lust thing, but I am assuming it is love at first sight.  Most may think that it is rather strange due to the fact that he is a celebrity living on the other side of the world.  But that doesn't matter to me.  He's still a person, so I may have a chance...even though it is VERY slim.  :3  I will still hold on to that small chance.  And because of this extreme caring for him, I have no interests in dating anyone else.  Now before you say, "Now that's a bit extreme", hear me out.  My reasons for doing so is because frankly, nobody interests me here.  And Changmin is my ideal man anyway.  "Why don't I find someone closer?" you ask?  Well, that is because I have the mentality that if I do date a man, he basically has to the be first and last man I date.  That is why I am taking my time (and not dating anyone)...even if I am missing out on tons of opportunities.  I'm sure that there are some people like that in the world.  There are times when the words of some people get to me, but I usually brush it off and continue with my ways.  You all know who you are.  Sure, my views on dating (and love in general) are all screwed up, but hey...that's the way I funcition.  So, why do I like Changmin so much?  Well, I am not entirely sure myself, but there are a few reasons (most of them being shallow):

-He's Asian.  (I've wanted an Asian boyfriend...I guess I'm a little picky...)

-He's taller than me.  (he's 6'2"!)

-I like his personality (even though he comes off as a smarta$$, I still love him)

-His smile may be a bit jacked up, but to me it is the most cutest thing in the world

-I'm attracted to his well-defined face^^

-His singing and dancing is amazing (just like the rest of TVXQ)

Now I do realize that there are a few problems if I do manage to get into a relationship with him.  One major one being distance or even citizenship.  And then there is the cultural issue.  As long as I respect his, everything is cool.

So all I ask of you is to please don't worry about my love life.  I seem to have a twisted view on relationships anyway.  At least encourage me in seeking him out, and maybe talking to him.  Or something to that effect.  ^_^  And I'm not stalking him, if that is what you may think.  If the info is out on the net, I just look at it.  And his pics are posted in many places I visit.  It's not like I can be like some fans and steal his undies.  That's just too extreme.  However, I will admit that whenever I daydream about him...things kind of go x-rated.  =^^=

I know that I talk about Kpop groups too much, and Changmin even more.  But he is one of the things that just makes me happy.  And who doesn't want to be happy in these times?

Way To Make An Impression On Me, Code-V

So, apparently, there is some buzz about this Kpop group called Code-V.  They've been around for a while, but this is my first time ever hearing of them.  What brought them to the attention of some fans was the article of an interview that was released a while back in which they said they'd "surpass" TVXQ and some other things like talking about the split among the members and fans switching to them.  I'm a little fuzzy on the details since I didn't bother to look up the article myself, but it does sound a bit arrogant.  But then there are fans that say that the media had twisted the Code-V member's words as well.

But just today, I came across this video of Code-V singing 'Love In the Ice' at Budokan.

Video credit:

If memory serves me right, Budokan took TVXQ a while to make it to.  Which is another reason why I'm a big disgruntled because now it is so easy for artists to make it into Japanese television within the first few months of their Japanese debut while it took TVXQ and BoA so long to even make it on a television show.  So, yeah...this thing does bother me.  But I think that the reason some fans are more vocal, hateful, and sensitive towards this is because they may feel like TVXQ is losing relavence in the Kpop world maybe?  But as long as the members of TVXQ still have a firm grip, I'm sure my first impression of Code-V will become a bit better.  I may not be a fan of them, but I won't become an anti-fan either.  So, what I can say to all Cassies who are upset is that we shouldn't be upset to the point of total hatred.  Sure, they may try to surpass TVXQ, but we know just how difficult that can be.
