So, apparently, there is some buzz about this Kpop group called Code-V. They've been around for a while, but this is my first time ever hearing of them. What brought them to the attention of some fans was the article of an interview that was released a while back in which they said they'd "surpass" TVXQ and some other things like talking about the split among the members and fans switching to them. I'm a little fuzzy on the details since I didn't bother to look up the article myself, but it does sound a bit arrogant. But then there are fans that say that the media had twisted the Code-V member's words as well.
But just today, I came across this video of Code-V singing 'Love In the Ice' at Budokan.

If memory serves me right, Budokan took TVXQ a while to make it to. Which is another reason why I'm a big disgruntled because now it is so easy for artists to make it into Japanese television within the first few months of their Japanese debut while it took TVXQ and BoA so long to even make it on a television show. So, yeah...this thing does bother me. But I think that the reason some fans are more vocal, hateful, and sensitive towards this is because they may feel like TVXQ is losing relavence in the Kpop world maybe? But as long as the members of TVXQ still have a firm grip, I'm sure my first impression of Code-V will become a bit better. I may not be a fan of them, but I won't become an anti-fan either. So, what I can say to all Cassies who are upset is that we shouldn't be upset to the point of total hatred. Sure, they may try to surpass TVXQ, but we know just how difficult that can be.
