What Was Hurricane Katrina Like?

I am super late on making this, but I've wanted to type an account about my experience with Hurricane Katrina.  Ah...that day was one of the most scariest in my life.  It is one that I will not foget any time soon.  Hurricane Katrina was my very first major hurricane, and I had only been living in southern Mississippi for about a year when she came along.  Sure, before this storm I had to deal with tornadoes when I lived in Illinois and Ohio, and Tropical Storm Allison when I visited Mississippi earlier in life.  But Katrina was different.  My account may not be that good, and I may have missed a few things, but here goes nothing:

Ah...summer of 2005...I remember that year.  I was living with my grandmother at the time.  I heard TVXQ for the first time.  It was the beginning of my senior year of high school.  I hadn't been really paying any attention to the weather that year, but I had heard that it was going to be an active hurricane season.  Back in June or July, I remember my family cutting plywood boards to fit into the windows and such.  For most of the summer, they stayed up.  Then about one week after my birthday, one Friday towards the end of the school day, the intercom came on and started talking about a storm out in the Gulf of Mexico that may be headed our way and that we might not have school next week.  I wasn't really paying much attention to it though.  But when I got home, I could remember hearing talk about preparing for this storm.  It looked like we were going to ride this one out, so I figured it wasn't that bad of a storm.  I remember the previous year we had fled from Hurricane Ivan, but it luckly didn't do any damage to our area.  I can't really remember what all happened on that Saturday--it was most likely preparations and such.  But I do remember on Sunday morning that a call from the church we attended said that there would be no chruch so that people could have time to prepare.  Now...if your church calls saying that it's cancelled service so you can prepare for something does sound like something you should worry about.  Also, mandatory evacuations were being administered for the coastal areas of Louisiana and Mississippi.  I believe Alabama too, but I wasn't sure.  ^^;;  Other family members also came over to ride out the storm as well.  I do remember my grandomother saying that it would've been pointless to leave because this storm was big.  Here is a clip from The Weather Channel from about that time:

She was HUGE!  Not as huge as Hurricane Francis, but still rather big.  And like the guy in the video said...things weren't good.  She was regaining strength.  You see...whenever a storm enters the Gulf of Mexico's waters, it gets a charge.  ^_^  We have some of the warmest waters over here.  But that Sunday night, before we went to sleep, I remember my grandmother saying that we needed to fill the bathtubs with water.  She said we might need it for emergencies.

AUGUST 29th, MONDAY MORNING....  It was about six or seven in the morning when I woke up to the sound of the wind whistling outside.  She had JUST made landfall when I had awoken.  At first, things didn't seem so bad.  But then, the lights started blinking and I heard my grandmother shout "Turn 'em off!".  So my dad shut off all the power from the fuse box.  Thank goodness there was light outside.  We all made our way into the living room area and sat on the floor.  I did try to look out the sliding door window at the rear of the house.  It was really windy and raining hard.  I could even see the roof of my grandomother's neighbor's house tearing apart.  Their house was more of an A-frame, and couldn't compare to a roof built more for a hurricane.  But since it was coming down, the neighbors managed to make it to our house through the sliding door.  Now our house was full of people (about 25 and that isn't counting the 3 dogs that were there as well).  So, things were alright for a while, we noticed some leaking coming from the den and other areas.  Then we heard the ceiling in my grandmother's bathroom fall.  We all know that it was time to go.  We were going to have to run down the street to a neighbor's house through the sliding door.  But before that, the whole ceiling to the kitchen came down.  We all freaked out!  That was when all of us evacuated the house through the back door and ran across the backyard, and between my grandmother's neighbor's side of the house and RV.  We had a little repreive from the wind as the RV provieded a little protection.  But as soon as we were out in the open on the streets...things were crazy!  The rain pounded down on us and we were soaked within seconds.  It felt like needles stabbing me everwhere because the wind was whipping the rain.  It was also hard to breathe because the wind was being literally knocked out of me.  We were screaming a bit as we made our way to a neighbor's house down the street.  I could remember trying to hold on to my brother because he was being blown away.  XD  Even after the storm a few neighbors were worried about us because they heard us screaming.  But we all managed to make it to the other neighbor's house.  The rest of the day, we rode out the storm with them.  My sister and I were worried about the safety of our dogs as we had to leave them behind.

More Fanart By Yours Truly~!

Look~!  It's Sora (Kingdom Hearts II version)!  It took me a good while to draw this out, and I think it looks pretty decent.  :3  As always, PLEASE credit my work if you take it out.  ^^

Happy Birthday, Junnosuke~!

His birthday may have passed in Japan already, but it is still the 29th here in the U.S.  I've been looking forward to his birthday for a while now.  And I was really interested in helping to trend his birthday because I had heard from another Junnosuke fan that he is not so popular.  And a video blogger--who also admires him--has noticed that he is always put into the back when it comes to music videos.  But enough about that!

Mr. Sunshine!  My recently established Jpop bias!  Junnosuke Taguchi~!  I'd like to wish you a Happy 26th Birthday~!  If I could talk to him, I'd like to let him know that I tried very hard to trend #hottaguchi26 on his birthday and let my Twitter list (which is made up mostly of Kpop fans) know about him.  I really, really, really didn't want him to go unnoticed.  But it felt like he did anyway.  :'(  But I'm sure if I told him that, he would've shaken his head gently and said: "It's alright.  As long as you tried, that's all that matters."  >///<  Well, I shall tell you a little about him now.

Junnosuke doesn't talk much about his private life, so there isn't much I know.  He moved alot, but I think he was born somewhere in the Kanagawa area of Japan.  He is the tallest member in KAT-TUN (the Japanese male group he is part of).  He is VERY optimistic.  Even if the situation looks terrible, he has a smile on and tries to see the good in any situation.  He's best known for dancing, juggling, tap dancing, juggling WHILE tap dancing, billiards, and dajare jokes ('word pun' jokes).  If I put it into Kpop terms, Junnosuke would remind you of Changmin in looks but Junsu in personality.  (Note: Please don't kill me Cassies and Hyphens for saying that).  His most famous dajare:

vidoe credit:

Hm...when I first started getting into him, I came across a few articles  stating that he was dating/married to a gravure model named Komine Rena.  I don't know if they're still dating--and I MOST DEFINATELY HOPE they're not married--but it makes me jealous.  >:(  I'm just telling it like it is, haha.

Ah, how I wish I could celebrate his birthday...with him!  ^_^  We could play video games and pork out on pizza.  Hopefully next year I can rally more people to help trend his birthday...that is if Twitter will still be the big thing.  Either that, or I hope to fly to Japan to actually see him in person.

So once again, I'd like to wish you, Junnosuke Taguchi, a very Happy Birthday~!  Aishiteru!  <3

So, How 'Bout Them MAMAs?

Before I begin this post, know that I am also a crazy fangirl in some ways.  ^_^  But...

Ugh...never have I seen so much crazy mess that is an award ceremony.  From the day the polls opened up for voting to the time of the actual award giving, things were just crazy.  But just to make things clear, I didn't really pay much attention to it all.  So I really shouldn't be saying anything about it.  But since my Twitter list is 90% Kpop related, I was still a part of it.

In the beginning, I wasn't really opting to vote.  I kept hearing who the nominees were for certain categories and such.  HoMin were nominated for a few as well as Super Junior, B2ST, and several other groups I like.  So, the main reason I didn't want to vote was because of that: too many of my favorite groups.  But then there was also the fact that I was a little sad that JYJ was once again absent from the list.  Everyday was like one of those voting campaigns for presidential elections you'd see on television.  Fans of various groups had also found ways to boost up the voting results of their groups by making several voting accounts.  To me, I kinda felt that was wrong.  It felt like cheating.  Like fans were doing it just for the sake of the award rather than thinking about if they really deserve it.  Eventually, I did come around to voting, but I wasn't going to vote for just HoMin or just Super Junior in all categories they were nominated for.  I actually went and looked up some of the other nominated artists and the songs that they were nominated for.  But I only voted ONCE.  That was it.  The rest of the time, I watched as others made various accounts to vote.  I was pretty much ready for it to be over really.  ^^;;

Then, just yesterday (on my side of the world).  Voting had ended and the award ceremony was held...in Singapore.  But it was live streamed as well.  I didn't watch it because it was during my sleeping hours.  XD  But when I woke up...the reactions were just...  @_@  Cassiopeia was upset because HoMin didn't win anything.  And I was okay with that.  They've won so many awards in the past.  I'm sure Yunho and Changmin were like: "Ah~ No awards this year.  That's okay though.  We did our best."  But if all five were there, I'm sure it would've been an almost all-kill.  It just goes to show that anything that was once full and becomes divided doesn't stand a good chance.  Kind of like the slogan I kept hearing while in school.  "United We Stand, Divided We Fall".  So...what does that tell us, Cassies?  Anyway, I believe E.L.F.s were upset because they didn't win a certain award.  Again.  Nothing to worry about.  I think Super Junior did well this year too.  And I think they won an award anyway, so I'm cool with it.  I'm not sure why BlackJacks (2NE1's fans) were upset though.  Either way, many fandoms were butthurt that evening.

Now...I know that there are some things that I do get upset about in my fangirl life.  Most of it being whenever my biases are said to be in relationships and stuff or when things between JYJ and HoMin stans flare up.  But when it comes to awards...I'm cool with it.  HoMin may not have won any awards, but look at our situation.  And heck, neither JYJ or HoMin are nominated for the Golden Disk Awards.  My theory is because they know how us Cassies are.  ^^;;  But whatever, TVXQ (all five members of course) are still stars in my eyes.  No need for an award.  Just keep on truckin' towards reunification.  To the artists that won an award, I congradualate you~!

I know I may sound like a bitter fan or some meanie that just stole your lunch money, but doesn't some of my words have at least some truth or sense to them?  As one of my fellow Cassie friends has said...I am a thinking fan.  There are lots of things I think about that deal with how this fandom is and how I wish it was.  So, as usual, I apologize for stepping on some toes.  Now...onto my next post!

Shim Changmin & Taguchi Junnosuke...DO SOMETHING TOGETHER!!!!!

I am serious!  Since I've become quite attached to Junnosuke--and consequently looking up things about him--I often find myself thinking:  "Wouldn't it be super cool if Changmin and Junnosuke teamed up to sing a song together?"  Or they could be in a radio program or variety show together (much like they were on 'Music Station')

The thing about that is since Junnosuke's personality reminds me a little of Junsu's, and when it comes to Changmin and Junsu...it's kinda like how Koki and Junnosuke are.  Basically, 'play fighting' would be the best way to describe it.  :3  But it would be amazing to hear them singing together!  Both are really good at singing and dancing!  And Junnosuke wants to learn Korean, so they could sing a song in either Korean or Japanese.  Any thoughts?  :3  It doesn't have to stop there!  All five members of TVXQ could collaborate with all six members of KAT-TUN (as difficult as that may be right now).  I also was thinking while watching 'Cartoon KAT-TUN' how awsome it would've been if they could've invited TVXQ on the show.

Well, that is all for this post.  Peace~!

Oh, Cassiopeia... =_=;;

Ah, Cassiopeia...I really do enjoy being a part of this large fandom, but ever since the latter part of 2009 things haven't been the best.  With the seperation of the members into two groups at the moment and all the constant fighting/bashing, it turns even the nicest of fans into really mean ones.  Others who cannot handle any of the arguing simply become a 'turned off' fan or leave the fandom altogether.  As of right now, the fans are split into three groups: JYJ stans, HoMin stans, and OT5 stans.  In the case of OT5, there can be subtle differences.

To me, JYJ stans are quite vocal about their issues (be it with HoMin or anything else).  In the beginning, I was very much okay with how JYJ stans felt.  They must've found it unfair that Yunho and Changmin went on to promote asTVXQ when Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu couldn't.  They must've also felt upset when the said three were (and still are) banned from any show that would help promote them.  I'm not going to lie, I feel the same way.  So, that is why I can side with JYJ stans on this:  simply because I still feel like there is some injustice towards Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu.  But lately, there have been some fans that take their frustrations a little too far and do some crazy things with it.  HoMin stans are, in my opinion, passive-agressive with their issues.  They aren't as vocal with things as far as I've seen.  When the initial seperation happened, I wasn't really to enthusiastic with them.  Yes, I'd support TVXQ, but not 2VXQ or whatever they call it.  Like JYJ stans, they make it known that they do not like the other members.  Most of their conflicts rise whenever a JYJ stan makes themselves present or whenever bashing comes into play.  OT5 stans are a little more bearable.  It depends on what type you are though.  As I had heard once, you have 2 types: ones that support the five members even through this seperation and the ones that support the five members' work prior to.  Where do I fall in this?  I'm probably half and half.  I support all five even through this seperation, but I haven't been as enthusiastic with listening to their recent stuff or keeping up with news on them.  If you were to ask me what would be my favorite song on the 'In Heaven' or 'TONE' albums, I'd probably just pick one out of the blue because I haven't heard all the songs on either album.  But most OT5 stans have the same wish to see all members back together again or at least see them have their friendship restored.  There are a few who do not mind that TVXQ has split the way it has and actually don't mind if they never get back together.  That makes me a little sad to hear it though.  The conflicts that OT5 stans have is whenever JYJ and HoMin fans fight amongst themselves or when both of those entities get into a tussle with them.  Sometimes it is what JYJ/HoMin stans say that sets off an OT5.  Thus, some mean things could come from them.  And to me, that is just as bad as being JYJ/HoMin biased.  -_-;;  I know I may have said some mean things about JYJ/HoMin stans too (just to make you all feel better).  >_<  So, no matter how you look at it, all parts of the fandom are a little rough around the edges.  Lately, JYJ stans have been getting a bad reputation for their lashing out in these past few months.  But amidst all that, I still think there are some good fans within that side of the fandom.  Just like I'm sure there are within the HoMin and OT5.  (S/N:  Just to put this out there, I'm not very fond of fans that say things like "I hate JYJ or HoMin or saying 'ex'-members.  It aggrivates me.)  It's really sad to think this way but for fans who did abandon one side, they must've never really liked a few members in the first place.  -_-;;  I'd like to say that's being a fake fan, but that may be too strong a word.  But what will those fans do when TVXQ comes back together again?  If they go back to cheering "We love you all!" all I can do is shake my head in shame because I'd consider that being finicky or two-faced.  But that's just my opinion.

Showing Love To My Other Favorite Jpop Groups: KAT-TUN

Name: KAT-TUN (the hyphen is important, lol)
Members: (top section, L to R) Akanishi Jin (former member), Nakamaru Yuichi, Ueda Tatsuya, (bottom section, L to R) Tanaka Koki, Taguchi Junnosuke, Kamenashi Kazuya
Fanbase: Hyphen
Fancolor: I dont' think they have a fancolor.  It's more of fans with the member's faces on them.

Well, this is the group that has caught my attention on several occasions.  At first, I just heard about their name, and never really bothered to listen to them or anything.  That is how it usually goes with the groups I follow, lol~!  I was more into anime at the time, and I mainly listened to singers of their openings and endings or to solo singers like GACKT, Miyavi, Maaya Sakamoto, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Utada Hikaru.  There was the occasional boybands that I had one or two songs from though (ex.- Arashi, V6).  Then I eventually switched into Kpop, and that was fronted by my bias group TVXQ.  I didn't hear about KAT-TUN until around March/April of 2009 when they released 'RESCUE'.  I found out about that because that single went up against TVXQ's 'Survivor'.  I found that kind of cool that both titles could coincide with each other.  But I still wasn't very much interested in them.  I had seen other MVs of theirs as well: 'ONE DROP' and 'YOU'.  So what did make me take more interest in them?  Junnosuke.  Yes, one of the members stood out to me.  XD  It was after watching 'Rescue' quite a few times that my sister had told me that Junnosuke reminded her of Changmin (my ultimate bias).  I can see it too!  They may not look totally alike but at first glance and certain angles they can.  So at that point I was like: "Okay.  Pretty nifty this KAT-TUN group is".  However, it wasn't until this year--after hearing the responses of people when 'Run For You' was released-- that I actually started to follow them a little more (i.e.- getting to know who's who, member info, trivia, looking for songs/MVs, etc.).  So now I'm mainly a Cassie-Hyphen fan.  Though the Hyphen part of me is in training.  ^^;;

KAT-TUN was originally made up by six members with the first letter of each of their last name making up the group name: (K)amenashi, (A)kanishi, (T)aguchi, *hyphen*, (T)anaka, (U)eda, (N)akamaru.  They started out as a dance group for a previous Johnny's act (I think it was Kinki Kids).  It was more like a rotational group, but fans loved the members of KAT-TUN so much that they became a permanant unit.  Apparently they set alot of records too!  Having so many consecutive days of performances at the famous Tokyo Dome BEFORE debut is rather impressive.  I was looking up abou tthem on Wikipedia, and it looks like Johnny's Entertainment had them working almost as hard as TVXQ was!  They even had their own television show called 'Cartoon KAT-TUN' which I personally thought was really hilarious!  I saw sides of them that I never really thought about.  But while watching, I was really wishing that TVXQ would be guests.  XD  Ah, but since I've been so used to seeing TVXQ (Kpop in general) dancing, whenever I see KAT-TUN (or several Jpop groups) dancing...it's a bit...off?

Sadly, one of the members, Akanishi Jin, announced his departure from the group to pursue a solo career.  With that, the 'A' in the group was also used by Kame, so now it's (KA)menashi, (T)aguchi, *hyphen*, (T)anaka, (U)eda, (N)akamaru.  It's rather sad to see groups I like have to split...even if it's only a few members that leave.  Fans are hopeful that one day Akanishi will come back much like many Cassies are hopeful that TVXQ will come back together.

Well, as of now, KAT-TUN has made themselves a little cozy spot in my list of groups I follow.  Currently, they are my bias group from Japan.  There is still quite a bit I don't know about them, but slowly and surely, I shall get to know them better~!  If you'd like, you can check them out too!

I feel a bit intimidated when I step into a group that has long been established in the entertainment world and has so many fans that are 'well-seasoned' in terms of knowlege of a member I like.  I usually think: "Wow...they know alot about him.  They'd make a better pair than I would with him."  It was a little like that in the beginning for me with Changmin in TVXQ, but it seems a bit worse for Junnosuke in KAT-TUN.  :o  I hope none of you take it the wrong way of course.   I really do admire the loyalty in some of you fans because it must be so easy to stick with just one person (which I seem to have temporarily lost sight with).   I only say that last part because loyalty/faithfulness is one of the big traits of a Leo.  Maybe that is why my brain is fried whenever I look at the pics on my Windows 7 desktop thingy because it's got both Changmin and Junnosuke pics to shuffle through.

I see fans who are strictly Changmin and ones who are strictly Junnosuke biased. And ones that like both already seem to have chosen who they'd most likely stick with. So, where does that leave me? I still think that I'd most likely choose Changmin, but then I don't want to lose Junnosuke either.  Then I think: "Is this really something to be fretting over?" XD   I also don't want to be considered a 'fake' fan or a disappointment to one fandom or the other for liking both of these guys very much. It's like I'm thinking they're saying: "You should stick with one and not worry about the other".  Even thought that is totally not the case of what they're saying.  But I really dislike when fans compare them in negative ways, namely by saying that one is better than the other in various fields (i.e. - hotness/cuteness, dancing, singing, etc.)  >:(  I can't --no--I REFUSE to do that.  If I do compare, it's all for good things.  I guess I just want fans who are either Changmin/Junnosuke-biased to recognize that BOTH are special.

Either way, both make me very happy…but I’m also finding myself asking: “Why do you two make it so difficult? Wae/Doushite?” (o_o;)

Just a Little Fun

This is something I had posted on my Tumblr.  :3

See this deer that Junnosuke is so fascinated with?

Well, that deer turned out to be Changmin~!  XD

What I've Been Up To

Wazzup everyone?  I bet you've been wondering where I've been, huh?  It's okay if you weren't wondering.  ^^;;

As of late, I've been immersing myself deeper into the Jpop group called KAT-TUN.  I am in the process of finishing a drama called 'Yukan Club' which stars Akanishi Jin and Taguchi Junnosuke.  I am also in the process of watching their television variety show called 'Cartoon KAT-TUN'.  They are a bunch of hilarious guys~!  I'm still having a bit of trouble trying to recognize their voices when singing and by speaking normally, but it's all cool.  I've also been collecting pictures that I find on the internet of my newfound Jpop bias, Junnosuke.  Currently, I have 200+ pictures of him, but that is nothing compared to the 900+ pictures I have of Changmin.  >:)  Ah...these two will continue to pull at my heartstrings...  Now I kinda feel bad for my other biases (namely Kyuhyun).  :(

I've also created a Tumblr.  If you'd like to follow me there, here  My Tumblr.  It's rather confusing to me, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

For the past few days of the previous week, I've been a little freaked out.  It is due to watching the Japanese special version of 'The Grudge' called 'Ju-on: White Ghost/Black Ghost'.  You'd think it wouldn't scare me since I've played all three games of the 'Fatal Frame' series (and I still want to play the fourth) and watched/read some violent anime/manga.  The movie did have some pretty startling moments, but there were some scenes where it was...hard to watch more or less.  It was only three scenes, so I was pretty okay with the rest (save for how this one ghost looked).  But when it comes to foreign films, you can never tell how gruesome a it is because they usually don't come with a rating.  And I don't watch many horror/slasher/thriller/R-rated films to begin with.

Other than that, I am really sad that New York will be the hotspot for Kpop between September and October.  Apparently, there will be a FREE Kpop concert there and SM Town is going to be there.  And where am I?  Stuck in the south.  =_=;;  I'd really like to go up there and see my ultimate bias in the flesh.  Then I'd hop on over to Japan and see both Junnosuke and Changmin~!  Well that one may take alot of effort.  ^^;;

Well, that's where I've been if you've been wondering why I haven't posted in a while.  Don't be alarmed if both Changmin and Junnosuke end up in an entry.  Peace out~!

Maaya's Getting Married and Another Changmin/Junnosuke Post

Omo~!  I"m so happy!  My favorite Japanese songstress/voice actress is getting married...or is she already?  Anyway, I am very glad for her.  And I read that it is to a fellow voice actor who played is some of the same anime as her.  For example, in 'Ouran High School Host Club' Maaya Sakamoto played the main character Haruhi while her husband played as the twin named Hikaru.  They also played in 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children' as Aerith and Zack (which were dating one time during the video game, Final Fantasy VII).  So it's like Aerith and Zack came together in reality~!  Well, I am glad she is married.  It's not often I hear about her, so this was quite a suprise, but in a good way.  ^_^

Like I said before, I now have two people that clog up my fantasy thoughts.  Its really difficult to have these romantic fantasies because it involves two now (it's okay, and not okay I suppose).  My worries happen to be because I don't want to have Changmin be knocked off as my #1 heartthrob or forgotten in any way.  Basically, I want him to be the one I dream about.  But I still want Junnosuke~!  -_-  It's like if I choose one, I'll have to abandon my love for the other...and I don't want to do that.  But that's how it goes in real life, huh?  A woman can have many guys she likes, but in the end she can only have one.  I suppose I am making a big thing over something so small and trivial.  Darn these fangirl matters...  XD  So, in the mean time I suppose I shall just continue to have this small struggle of loving/yearning for/fangirling over two people (it wasn't this hard when it was Changmin vs. Kyuhyun).  But still...Changmin and Junnosuke are making it VERY difficult:

Forever drooling~!  8Q__  Sorry.  >_<  Well, that is all for now.  Peace out~!

"Hey, I Was There~!"

This probably doesn't count as a fanaccount since I wasn't acutally there to see them, but looking at the scenery behind Yoochun as he was making his little craft reminded me of a place in Japan that I went to make a handmade mailbox (that I still have) and a cross-stiched flower (which I also have).  The thing is, I'm not sure if that is the same one.  But since I looks just like it, I'm gonna say it was.  Who knows?  It might have went through some renovations.

Either way, when I saw it, I had a minor spazz attack because I was like: "Oh, my gosh~!  I was there like 15 years prior!"  Just thinking of being in the same spot they were in (even if there was a time lapse) makes me feel really happy.

There wasn't only that instance, but others as well.  For example, when Junsu went to the Tokyo Tower.  BAM!  I was there.  It had an ice cream and gift shop up there.  There was an aquarium that all members visited upon first arriving in Japan.  I'm not sure if it's the same one, but it could've been.  XD  Then when Jaejoong went to that place in Canada.  Apparently, I was way too little to remember this, but my family passed through there on our way from Alaska to California.  I thought that was also cool~!

I'm sure that this isn't really anything to be bragging about since most fans have gotten the chance to be ALREADY face to face with the members.  But I just thought I'd share my 'pseudo' experiences of being in the same place, but at different times.

Peace out~!

Cheating on Changmin?! O__O;;

I bet that caught your attention?

For the past three days, I've been becoming more and more infatuated with KAT-TUN member, Junnosuke Taguchi.  This has been brought on by searching for Jpop macros on a Tumblr account.  I had known about Junnosuke a bit beforehand, but now...after seeing some pics of him on that Tumblr account...

Anyway~!  I feel like I'm a little bit of a bad girl because for the past 3 1/2 years I've been ranting about Changmin.  Most of my daydreams are consumed with thoughts about him.  But now, Junnosuke seems to be sneaking in there as well.  This leads to questions like:  "What if Junnosuke overthrows Changmin as my ultimate bias?  What if I just toss Changmin aside like some old, used thing?  It worries me.  :(  I like both, but...   My only assumption as to why this is happening is probably a few things:
  1. Changmin looks like him
  2. He is within my age range of dateable guys (Junnosuke is only 3 years older than me)
  3. He's Asian (um...yeah...^^)
  4. He's pretty tall (around 181cm)
And the last reason may be because of what I found on Google after typing in his name:  "Junnosuke girlfriend" or "Junnosuke married".  :(  I think it's still just rumors afloat, but reading some other fans' blogs on the subject made me really sad/jealous of this so-called girlfriend of his.  Most fans turn her out to be an adult movie actress thats...well...not a very good match for him to say the least.  I suppose just reading the few statements on that made me want him even more--if that is possible.  So, I just hope that whole thing with this girl is just a rumor.

Basically, this post is just to let you all know that I now have a top Jpop bias!  And it didn't take much looking either.  ^^;;  I also think that this is just a slight phase I am going through coupled with the fact that he and Changmin look so much alike (as if I can't stress that enough).  Of course if they're standing next to each other, each with flowers in their hands and wanting to date me, I'd choose Changmin in a heartbeat...or would I?  *insert creepy music*  But still...

I really, really, really want both~!   >///<   Haha, I'm so greedy.  So, I suppose I'll be talking nonstop not only about Changmin, but Junnosuke's name might come up every now and then?  I guess we'll just have to see.

Peace out!

Changmin and Junnosuke~! XD

Well, it is really late, but I wanted to post this! As you all know, I am totally into Jpop and Kpop (mainly Kpop at the moment). I have a really big adoration for Shim Changmin of TVXQ. He's my ULTIMATE bias. However, after going through some funny macros for Jpop, I came to notice the person that he looks like: Junnosuke Taguchi. I'd seen him before in music vidoes like 'One Drop' and 'Rescue'. But it wasn't until my sister pointed out that Changmin looked like him that I actually took notice. Now, slowly but surely I am becoming quite fond of him. XD It might be because he and Changmin look alike, and that may not be a good reason to like him...but it happened.  LOL!  Now I want both~!

Spazzing With TVXQ! What's Been Going Down, Guys? :)

Ya~h!  It is great to see the members of my bias Kpop group doing things despite their companies being big buttholes.  In this post, I shall talk about the recent stuff going on.  :D  Let's start with Jaejoong!

Haha, I wouldn't mind being interviewed by this man!
Chyeah!  I am really excited to see Jaejoong on television...wait...I don't have SBS!  Dang it!  :(  But I am still glad that he will get to act once again.  And this time it is on Korean television.  The last drama he was in was "Sunao Ni Naretakute".  But then again, he was in that movie, "Heaven's Postman".  The funny thing is that I have never watched both of those productions.  Anyway, there have been some pictures of Jaejoong in his character that have come out (much like the one above).  I think there have been a few complaints that he doesn't look as beautiful as he used to.  But in his defense I'd have to say that he still looks wonderful.  He is getting older after all.  I'd have to say that it might be because of lack of sleep why his eye bags are back, but whenever he does sport black hair, they tend to show more prominent.  Either way, I won't constitue it as a turn-off from him.  I do hope that the drama does do well.  Jaejoong, hwaiting~!

Gotta look for this poster!
I am also glad to see Yoochun working in another drama.  It seems that is one of the only ways they'll be able to be seen on Korean television.  With "Goodbye, Mrs. Ripley" winding down, I hear that it has done a wonderful job.  Thus, I must watch it.  And since I enjoyed Yoochun's acting in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal", I think I'll enjoy it in this drama as well.  It is rather saddening that he wasn't able to help promote his activities through appearances on television variety shows (because the three members are still being blocked), but it didn't stop the drama from receiving quite a bit of praise~!  Yoochun, hwaiting!  And I hope he'll get better from his recently diagnosed medical condition.

I'm sure Mozart would be proud for Junsu making him better known~!
Ah, Mr. "Xiahzart"!  I am really proud of Junsu for being requested to be in so many musicals.  And he's really good at it!  If I could, I would've went to see him play as Mozart.  So far he's been in "Mozart" like three times and one called "Tears of Heaven".  There was another one for "Mozart" with a special from a famous musical composer, Mr. Levay as well.  I am also rather excited to see him have  a cameo appearance in a drama called "The Scent of a Woman".  You know if a drama places any super famous person in there, it'll get more viewers.  Haha, I might just watch this drama for that purpose.  ^^;;  But what is really exciting is that Junsu's BFF, Eunhyuk of Super Junior, has added him on Twitter.  Do you know how many fans went ballistic when they heard that?  I am very happy as well.  But this shows that Yunho and Changmin can also get a Twitter account, and they can all communicate that way.  I don't see the harm in that.  The only problem would be fans who are so against the members seeing each other again or the companies somehow making it so that they can't communicate via Twitter.  =_=;;

"On the cover of the Rolling Stones!  Gonna get my picture on the cover!"
As for Yunho and Changmin, they are doing well.  As the pic above shows, they've graced the cover of the "Rolling Stones".  If I am not mistaken, it is a big deal?  I mean the one here in the U.S. is a big magazine (or at least it was back in the day).  It would have been nice if all five members could have been on the cover though.  :(  Other than that, they've recently been to Paris for the SM Town tour, and some time in September, they'll be in Australia.  Aside from all the appearances in magazines, t.v. shows, and whatnot, they just released another Japanese single called 'Superstar'.And just after it's release, it reached #1 on Japanese charts!  As usual, they look really good!  It's just...autotune.  I know it's like the first time that it is apparent that they've used it ('Crazy Love' had just a tad) but I hear it so much in American songs, so it's rather annoying.  Very early this morning I watched the music video for the song and I now have this whole dialogue for the opening sequence.  Here's the video below the break:

The Time Has Come...

*insert creepy music*  Well, the day has finally arrived...  >:D  On July 18th, many noona (older) fans were very eager and have been anticipating this very day.  Why?  Well, the youngest member of SHINee has become legal.  He is 18 now and the prison doors have flown open!  Now that Taemin is of legal age, fans can now fantasize about him without having to feel guilty about being some sort of pedophile.  I am one of those fans.

Not very recent, but still rather eye-catching.  XD

While I do like to see some skin from time to time, I don't think I'm ready to see Taemin wearing clothes that expose much or him ripping his shirt on stage.  It's still rather awkward since he still looks so freakin adorable.  But it looks like he is changing before my eyes.  O.O  HIs face in recent photos looks really different.  But before I assume things, I am just going to say that he is growing into his physique.  I suppose that is what you would say.  Much like how Changmin has changed...and we all know how HOT he looks.  >_<

All I can say is Happy 18th Birthday Taemin~!  I hope to see you also in person.  You have made this noona fan proud.  ^_^

Dear Cassiopeia...Part 2

This here is my supposed inspirational letter to Cassiopeia.  :D

Ah...Cassiopeia.  My bias fandom.  You can be crazy-as-heck, but seeing the red ocean makes me proud to be a part of it--even if it is unofficial.  And we even have another section: BigEast.  We are still the biggest fandom in the world...but only by a slight margin now.  We have lots of pride I suppose.  But do you know the story of Cassiopeia according to Greek legend?  Cassiopeia was a queen known for her beauty...and her vanity/pride.  Later in the story, Poseidon punishes her by placing her upside down in a chair for all eternity (the 'W' in the sky).  Here is a better synopsis here.  But most of you aren't like that...are you?  Surely we don't act vain and prideful all the time...  ^^;;

Well, by the end of July, we will be entering our 3rd year of this awful mess known as 'the lawsuit'.  Would you believe it'll have been two full years of not seeing TVXQ as a five-member group?

I'm certain that this whole mess is totally messing with some of you.  While most of the fans may have decided to choose a side, there are others that still wait for the day for all five members to come back.  I am one of those fans.  However, the constant fights between the stans of JYJ and the stans of HoMin do make it difficult.  Not to mention the external pressures (i.e.- other groups mentioning TVXQ in a good or bad way, media, etc) make things quite sensitive and sometimes we just react without thinking.  It's just one thing after another, and it's getting pretty hard to Keep the Faith, huh?  I'm sure some of you are also losing patience and thus either going on hiatus, switching fandoms, or just completely abandoning them altogether.  I can see that in some of the people that I used to spazz with.  It's rather lonely nowadays.  :(  I'm sure most of you fans feel this way too?

But in order to battle this sadness, a fan can always look back on the good old days with some old YouTube clips.  I know it is really hard for us fans to wait this long.  I know I'd love it if this could end very soon.  Imagine how things will be when they do come back together (I'm even more curious on the reaction of the stans on both sides >:D)  All I can say is that I pray that no matter what, you continue to love all five of them and support them until the end.  We wanna see this again, right:

Of course the best thing to do is pray and pray often.  So, let's do that okay?  :3  We gotta try to be the best fans we can be...if not for ourselves then for the members.  Let's just hope that things will get better for everyone very soon.

An unofficial fan,
~Myndless~

My Otaku Side...

Well, as many of you may know from my posts, I am very much into Kpop.  But did you know that I am also into anime?  It's probably because I don't talk about it much.  You see, I used to be a big otaku (fan) of anime and manga, but it seems to be dwindling.  The same goes for video games.

I don't watch any of the new ones that come out, and I rarely watch the ones that I already own.  It's like I'm more focused on Kpop celebs more than anything else right now, and when it comes to spazzing...I'd rather talk more about Kpop than anime.  Not only that, but I used to watch anime for the cute boys and fantasize that if they were real, I'd date them. But now that I've seen Changmin, I've totally lost that idea. ^^;;  It's not like I've totally lost interest in anime, but I've been into it for 10+ years and I was just wanting to give Kpop the same chance.  Sadly, my fellow Kpop spazzers (my sister and cousin and a few friends) seem to be dwindling and moving back into anime.  Nothing wrong with that, but it is rather lonely.  :(

My lack of anime and manga also doesn't mean that I have given up my dream of becoming a manga-ka (comic artist) either.  Sure, I don't draw as often as I should.  But there will be a day when I do.  Right now, I'm just focused on other stuff.  Besides...I'm rather slow and a bit lazy to draw the boxes, so I know I'd probably never reach the deadlines.

After thinking about it for several days, I've concluded some reasons why I'm losing interest in anime to begin with:
  • Too many people are into it now (it's not like how it used to be 10 years ago)
  • My television is messing up, so I can't watch any of my DVDs
  • This whole lawsuit with TVXQ vs SM is keeping me to Kpop
With that last point...if SM would just give up already and end the lawsuit and everything went back to it's normal way, I'd be at ease knowing the members are okay and dive into anime and manga for a while.

Well, that is my stance on anime.  I don't watch it often, but I haven't totally aboandoned it.  It may not be a subject that I talk about much, but I don't mind talking a bit about it from time to time.  Well, that is all.  Peace out~!

Showing Love To My Other Favorite Jpop Groups: Hey!Say!JUMP!

Well, I really don't know much about them...except that all ten of them are younger than me.  Yup, all TEN of them.  They are under the label known for making boy bands in Japan, Johnny's Entertaiment.  I have heard of them for quite some time, but never actually saw a music video of them until a year ago.  You can view Dreams Come True here.  (Credits to whoever loaded the video)

Yeah...I know...  ^_^;;  They are an adorable bunch of kids.  It's similar to my liking of Taemin of SHINee.  But underneath that cute exterior are some sexy beasts:

When I saw this pic, my first reaction was O__O  Then my second was: "What the f***!  They're too young to be showing their bodies!"  One is like 15 for cryin' out loud!  ...But it was still sexy.  Though, I think it is a thing in Johnny's Entertainment to do things like this.  Kinda reminds me a bit of SM Entertainment in S. Korea.

Hey!Say!JUMP! has also been split into a few subgroups too.  The only two I know of are Hey!Say!BEST! (which I think is comprised of the older members) and NYC Boys (which has a few of the members).  There is one song from NYC Boys that I do like, and it is of the same title:

Video Credit:

Haha, I guess I'm quite intrigued by them.  But I als feel bad for one of the members.  He is Hikaru Yaotome (the second to last member on the second row of the pic above).  You see, his hometown was in the city of Sendai...which was caught in the midst of the terrible tsunami back in March.  Right after that happened, he couldn't get in touch with his family who still lived there.  I'm not sure if he has gotten any word for their safety, but I pray that he did get some contact from them.  There has also been recent controversy that their youngest member, Ryotaro Morimoto, had been caught smoking via some old pics of when he was 14-15 (he's 16 now).  Needless to say, all his future activities with the goup have been suspended for quite a while.  =_=;;

So while this group has a bunch of youngsters in it, I'll just say that they're more like little brothers (or sons, lol) that I watch every now and then.  If you'd like, you can check them out too~!  ^o^

~Myndless~ Ramblings of the 'Same Old, Same Old'

While surfing DBSKALWAYS, the website I fancy, I came across an article that was shared from another site called JYJFanTalk.  This post was borrowed from the original author of another blog.  While reading it, I was getting the notion that she's:  single all her life, doesn't wear make-up, and wonders why her dating life sucks.  So I was like "Yeah, that kinda sounds like me."  But then she got into a subject that most fans tend to push into the back of their minds until it is brought to their attention:  any member of a group they follow becoming romantically involved with someone.  And to make it a rather 'harsh reality', she used TVXQ/JYJ as an example.

Now I have heard this said many times:  "The members need love too."  And I am one to agree with that.  It's just...well...I wanted to be that one special girl to administer that love (to Changmin, of course).  After reading posts like that, I usually get that sense of "Well, dang...now what am I supposed to do?" or "Should I just give up on that notion of sharing my life with him since it seems so useless to keep wishing?"  I get upsetting/melancholy thoughts whenever I read things of that nature.  And it sticks around for quite some time.  The worst things are when people make comments like "Oh, I'm glad he/she is finally getting some/tapping that".  -_-;;

Of course, I'm gonna use Changmin as my example because I love him.  Actually I am still at a loss to even say it is love or should I call it lust?  Anyway...so, when he does get a girlfriend, how am I gonna act?  Well, chances are he's probably got one now.  I know he's too handsome to stay single for very long.  And since he's so ninja about his private life, it's rather difficult to know for sure.  But if it is announced publicly, I may be quite upset.  But if it were just ar normal girl, I may be less upset than if it were a celebrity.  However, if it is announced that he got secretly married and has a child already...guess how I'm gonna feel?  :(   But it's not like I'm gonna be so mand that I'll find a way to harm their loved ones.  I don't think I'd have the gall to do that.  However, I'd probably forever wish I was in her place at that given moment.  But then I should also think of it this way:  If I do get into a relationship with Changmin...imagine how many hearts I'll break because of it.  :(

Salvaged Blog #4: Why I Like--No--LOVE Shim Changmin

Greetings!  This is a salvaged post from my Myspace blog.  It's still up there, but I figured I'd share it here.  This is back in 2008 I believe.  :D

Well, I haven't done one of these in a good while.  :3  As all of you know, I have been so very much into South Korean male celebs.  My ultimate favorite being Shim Changmin of TVXQ.  It is astounding how much I really do love this man.  I am not sure if it is actual love or a lust thing, but I am assuming it is love at first sight.  Most may think that it is rather strange due to the fact that he is a celebrity living on the other side of the world.  But that doesn't matter to me.  He's still a person, so I may have a chance...even though it is VERY slim.  :3  I will still hold on to that small chance.  And because of this extreme caring for him, I have no interests in dating anyone else.  Now before you say, "Now that's a bit extreme", hear me out.  My reasons for doing so is because frankly, nobody interests me here.  And Changmin is my ideal man anyway.  "Why don't I find someone closer?" you ask?  Well, that is because I have the mentality that if I do date a man, he basically has to the be first and last man I date.  That is why I am taking my time (and not dating anyone)...even if I am missing out on tons of opportunities.  I'm sure that there are some people like that in the world.  There are times when the words of some people get to me, but I usually brush it off and continue with my ways.  You all know who you are.  Sure, my views on dating (and love in general) are all screwed up, but hey...that's the way I funcition.  So, why do I like Changmin so much?  Well, I am not entirely sure myself, but there are a few reasons (most of them being shallow):

-He's Asian.  (I've wanted an Asian boyfriend...I guess I'm a little picky...)

-He's taller than me.  (he's 6'2"!)

-I like his personality (even though he comes off as a smarta$$, I still love him)

-His smile may be a bit jacked up, but to me it is the most cutest thing in the world

-I'm attracted to his well-defined face^^

-His singing and dancing is amazing (just like the rest of TVXQ)

Now I do realize that there are a few problems if I do manage to get into a relationship with him.  One major one being distance or even citizenship.  And then there is the cultural issue.  As long as I respect his, everything is cool.

So all I ask of you is to please don't worry about my love life.  I seem to have a twisted view on relationships anyway.  At least encourage me in seeking him out, and maybe talking to him.  Or something to that effect.  ^_^  And I'm not stalking him, if that is what you may think.  If the info is out on the net, I just look at it.  And his pics are posted in many places I visit.  It's not like I can be like some fans and steal his undies.  That's just too extreme.  However, I will admit that whenever I daydream about him...things kind of go x-rated.  =^^=

I know that I talk about Kpop groups too much, and Changmin even more.  But he is one of the things that just makes me happy.  And who doesn't want to be happy in these times?

Way To Make An Impression On Me, Code-V

So, apparently, there is some buzz about this Kpop group called Code-V.  They've been around for a while, but this is my first time ever hearing of them.  What brought them to the attention of some fans was the article of an interview that was released a while back in which they said they'd "surpass" TVXQ and some other things like talking about the split among the members and fans switching to them.  I'm a little fuzzy on the details since I didn't bother to look up the article myself, but it does sound a bit arrogant.  But then there are fans that say that the media had twisted the Code-V member's words as well.

But just today, I came across this video of Code-V singing 'Love In the Ice' at Budokan.

Video credit:

If memory serves me right, Budokan took TVXQ a while to make it to.  Which is another reason why I'm a big disgruntled because now it is so easy for artists to make it into Japanese television within the first few months of their Japanese debut while it took TVXQ and BoA so long to even make it on a television show.  So, yeah...this thing does bother me.  But I think that the reason some fans are more vocal, hateful, and sensitive towards this is because they may feel like TVXQ is losing relavence in the Kpop world maybe?  But as long as the members of TVXQ still have a firm grip, I'm sure my first impression of Code-V will become a bit better.  I may not be a fan of them, but I won't become an anti-fan either.  So, what I can say to all Cassies who are upset is that we shouldn't be upset to the point of total hatred.  Sure, they may try to surpass TVXQ, but we know just how difficult that can be.

Views vs. Comments

So today I post about a few things that have been on my mind.  One of them is my viewing count on my blog.  I am glad that many people are veiwing it, but I'm not getting many comments.  Most of my comments come from my good friend, YunhoFan, over at DBSKALWAYS and a few from Cha who runs the site JYJ Fantalk (a site that does support all five members).  I really appreciate them for commenting.  You ladies rock~!  >_<  However, I am wondering why other people aren't commenting.  Then I thought about it...whenever people look for pics online--let's say, Google--some of the pics on my blog come up.  All they do is just click the pick to look at it without really looking at my blog or reading my posts.  Is that it?  :(  So it makes me wonder what I can do to gain people's interests so they can actually COMMENT on my stuff.  Should I not use any pictures?  Should I write about different stuff?  I am aware that my site is generally towards Asian pop...more like Kpop...mainly TVXQ/JYJ stuff...Changmin.  Ok, you get my point.  I just would like to know (from the people who actually come to read my posts) what you'd like to see here.  And hopefully, I will be able to write an interesting post on that said subject.

Well, that is pretty much it for this post.  Short, huh?  Until next time~!

Spazzing Moment With Changmin: InStyle Magazine in Hawaii

When I heard that he was going to be doing a photoshoot in Hawaii, I was really psyched to see the photos.  Finally, they have been officially published!  AND HE IS SO FREAKN' GOOD LOOKING!!!  It made me wish that I was there.  :(  So join me as I bite my lower lip over these pictures, trying to keep myself from going into 'pervert mode'.  But it's Changmin, so that'll be difficult.

I really <3 this picture!  His smile is way too adorable!

If I saw him walking down the street, I don't know if I'd keep my fangirl side in check.  I'd want to follow him everywhere!  >_<

If I was really biting my lower lip, it'd probably be bleeding right now.  I want him so badly...  :(

The Air Has Been Cleared...Somewhat

For the past few days, my fandom has been fighting with each other.  This is pretty much the norm these days anyway what with the lawsuit and our members split into two seperate groups.  But this time it involves just fans of JYJ and maybe a handful of fans that still support the five.  The issue was about Telisha Shaw's sudden plunge into the Kpop world with her song, "Our Secret".  I had posted about this a day or two ago with my feelings.  Truth be told, I was a bit jealous too so I'm not going to lie about that.  But it was made worse when fans who 'mocked' jealous fans (which I felt would probably make the situation a little more worse than it was).  It got to me so much one day that I was like @_@ and ready for this thing to be over with.  Then...I read via Twitter that Telisha was going to be the guest of the internet radio show, Asian Pop Addict (they are really funny ladies by the way).  I listened to majority of her interview, and she explained what the song meant and she apologized if fans took it the wrong way.  From what I gather, it is about a girl (any fan) and their 'secret relationship' with a member if given the chance to date him.  It's just that it's in her perspective, I suppose.  Much like the fanfics we write, and my own thoughts of how it'd be if I actually dated Changmin.  ^^;;    She is quite nice...and bubbly.  :3  She even said that Junsu knows about this issue and they kinda laughed at how people actually thought they were a couple.  Though she did say it might be kinda nice date him...or T.O.P. (but that was a joke, so don't get tangled up in it, VIPers).  So, I sent her a few tweets expressing how I was sorry for jumping to conclusions and how difficult it is to be a fan who is totally in love with a celebrity that is not even American.  Hopefully some fans will also apologize to her and let this issue die in peace.  I feel that it is good when someone comes out and says things about the issue.  And truth be told...I think I'd believe her more than I would if Junsu had come out and said something.  >_<  Mianhe, Junsu~!  Her words sounded so sincere...I just hope that I'm right about it.  ^^;;  However, I am still a bit jealous that even though she is a fan like us, she is able to get that close to any member and stuff.

I guess it's more of like an "I told you so" for fans that thought nothing of this, but what are you gonna do?  I still think that jealousy is a natural thing if you really, REALLY like someone and you feel like they're being taken.  We just all need to work on it is all.  It may be easier for some to get over it quickly, but it takes a bit longer for others (i.e.-me when I hear 'Changmin' and 'girlfriend' or 'gettin' some' in the same sentence).  My mom still thinks I'm obsessed, but I still think I'm not too much....though I oftentimes do think I may cross the line or that I have this insane view on romance and relationships.  I think it was easier back then for fans of the past because they weren't saturated with their celeb.  YouTube wasn't invented...heck internet was just becoming popular.  But the fans of today who were also able to get over it probably already had a boyfriend before and such--at least that is what I think.  Not to mention that most of the fans who did call Telisha out were probably either younger girls or (as Telisha would put it) "just now tuning into her" and what she is about.

So, for now I hope this will place Cassies back into a lull of peace for a while.  Until next time, peace out~!

Fanfic: A Fan's Gift

I shall share with you all a story I did up in my Creative Writing class.  Since I have an adoration for TVXQ member, Shim Changmin I decied to write a story about what might happen if I did come across him.  I had also posted this on the fanfiction site known as Winglin.  Please tell me what you think.  :D

Title: A Fan's Gift
Type: Oneshot
Rating: G

‘There are many things in life that I always wish I could attain. One for example is to become a well known comic artist. Another is to travel to Japan and South Korea. But one of my biggest wishes right now is to meet one of Asia’s best male vocal groups: Dong Bang Shin Ki. You see, I’ve been a fan for a good while; however, the closest I’ve gotten to them has been through watching stuff about them on YouTube. Dong Bang Shin Ki, also known as TVXQ or Tohoshinki, is a Korean male vocal group that is made up of five very talented members. They’ve topped charts in many Asian nations and are said to have the largest fan club in the world. It has been my dream to meet them…especially one member in particular. His name is Shim Changmin and he…’

“Look! It’s them!” a girl shouted. Before I knew it all the girls around me started screaming; thus forcing me out of my thoughts. I was pushed forward as the girls from the back wanted to get a closer view of the people coming through the terminal gate. The bodyguards were ready for any girl that tried to slip under the aisle separators. I looked up just in time to see only the tops of the heads of two members of the group I’ve been thinking about walk swiftly down the aisle. The screams of the fan girls became louder as the last three members and their staff rushed by. The time elapsed was about two minutes and before I knew it, it was over. I had seen this scenario so many times on the internet, but this is the first time I’ve actually experienced it. This may have been nothing like the Gimpo Airport in South Korea (their crowds are HUGE) but it was still quite crazy. Clutching my art portfolio, I turned to my sister. “Well, that was exciting!” My sister nodded as a response. The crowd of girls began to move to the front of the LAX airport to catch another glimpse of TVXQ again.

“I guess we should head back to the hotel now,” I sighed. We hailed a cab and told him the directions needed. While riding, my sister turned to me.

“So, did you get to see him, Maddie?” she smirked.

“No. There were too many girls in the way. Did you get to see your favorite?” My sister shook her head.

“Well, maybe we’ll get to see them at the Korean Music Festival tomorrow?”

“Maybe.” I looked down at my portfolio again. Maybe then I could give them my gift.

I Think I Need A Break...

There seems to be once again a lull in my fangirling for TVXQ.  I haven't been this...fizzled since back in November of last year.  I eventually got over that when I came to know some really great fans that support the five.  :)  However, just last week, something happened within the JYJ side of the TVXQ fandom that set off ripples.  One of the dancers, Telisha, released her first single for the Kpop industry titled "Our Secret".  Not only that, but she did it under the name 'Telisu'.  So, I heard the song, and instantly thought:  "Oh dear...why does it sound like it's about Junsu?"  =.=;;  Don't get me wrong, she is really nice (heck, she responded to me a few times on Twitter), but my thoughts come because she seems to favor Junsu very much.  But then again, they could be about someone else that she works with.  Anyway, fans--ESPECIALLY Junsu-biased fans--got really upset.  On the other hand, there are some that actually wouldn't mind the coupling.  In fact, I think I wrote an entry about this before.

I am somewhere in the middle I suppose.  I can understand the jealousy that the fans may feel because if it were Changmin, I know I'd be jealous too.  In fact, it is suprising that I'm making a big deal about this because Junsu isn't even my bias!  >_<  But when it gets to the point of fans sending her threatening things, then it's not so good anymore.  Then there are times when I wouldn't mind it because it tells me that they're into girls with a little more color.  Not to mention that it's much easier for any staff member, other celeb, or whatnot to be closer to them than just a lowly fan like me, so why do I even bother?  :(  However, I find it a bit aggrivating that the fans who don't mind it say for others to grow up.  I know that he is in his 20's and such and can do whatever he wants, but I am also in my 20s.  I know that's not very relavent, but yeah.  I also find it a bit upsetting when they'd say "Lol, I bet he's getting some from her" or something like that.  I know that they may not be virgins anymore, but it's still rather harsh to bring up such things...especially in the case of Changmin with me.  :/  You see, my view on this is that I'd be happy for them to date, but at the same time I can't help but feel sad/jealous that it's not me.  But I guess that not ever having any relationship with a boy has turned me into the way I am now.  And since I see these guys not only a celebrities, but also as any other man I'd want to date, it may be a problem.   So, in  a sense, I am pretty much aggrivated with both fans who take their jealousy too far and fans who say to grow up (which constantly keeps the issue around).  And whenever I see or hear about anything related to this (i.e.- pics, fanfics, and comments regarding whatever stance they have on this) I get slightly annoyed/fizzled.  For that, I apologize.

Sometimes I think that the whole lawsuit is taking it's toll on fans.  It's been almost 2 years since it began.  Any little thing about any member can set off a fan.  I think that is true for me as well.  Maybe I'm so wrapped up in this.  It seems to be causing friction with my sister (who seems become less interested in TVXQ as time passes).  In fact, I think maybe a few are becoming less interested.  In my personal opinion, I miss the year 2007.  I was fresh with Kpop and things were very peaceful.  I had lots of people to spazz with and it was all fun.  As a fan at that time, I think I was really good.  And Kpop didn't seem so...blah.

This is why I may need a break.  I know that I'm not going to hold up to it though, but if I can get a job I hope that it will at least help to keep me from being on the computer too much.  In the end, I'm trying to decipher what kind of fan I am at this point...though I know it looks pretty obvious.  But I really beg to differ.  I may be very crazy-obsessed, but when it comes to the types of issues I explained above...I may complain and cry and whatnot, but I don't think I'd threaten or anything.  Just stadning idly by and being upset for a couple of days at the lucky girl may be enough.  Ah...such is the hopeless romantic...

There are times when I just feel like abandoning Kpop altogether, but I never want to leave TVXQ/JYJ (as well as other formadible groups) behind since they're like some sort of big interest of mine.  If I can rekindle my 2007 fangirl self, that would be very good.  I know that these issues will bug me for a little while longer, but eventually will dissolve (hopefully).  For now, I shall probably stick around with Changmin stuff for a while.  ^^;;  Until next time, peace out.
