Was Mad, But Now I'm Glad

Well, I missed out on posting for 10/10/10.  That only comes once every hundred years!  But this one was special since it was the first ten years into the new milennium.  Ah well..

Today's post focuses on JYJ.  What is JYJ?  It stands for Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu.  Three members of South Korean group (my ever favorite) TVXQ.  Since my group has been put on indefinate hiatus, the three members who filed a lawsuit against their company had to keep busy.  So they formed a sub-unit.  Ever since April of this year, they've been working really hard...and their previous company has been giving them a rough time as well.  Just recently, SM Entertainment (the company they sued) had tried to file a complaint saying that JYJ might damage the 'Hallyu Wave'.  This "wave" is basically the expansion of Korean entertainment into different countries.  SM tried to stop promotions of JYJ by requesting that no radio or television stations play their stuff.  Needless to say, I was really upset to hear about this.  I'm sure many Cassiopeians were as well.  Not long after that, the courts had denied SM's request and said that JYJ was able to conitnue with promotions.  I hope that this is incentive enough to have the other two members under SM (Yunho and Changmin) leave the company as well.  It would be nice if they can join the others.  :3

In addition, JYJ's first album, "The Beginning" will be released on the 21st worldwide.  I plan to buy a copy.  How about you?  I am looking forward to how it sounds.  So many people have heard some of the music already.  I am a little worried how it will sell in America.  Not many people are into Asian music (or at least I don't see many) and the fact that Kanye West had a hand in it makes me worry if that may affect some people's thoughts.  Especially with what he did at a certain music awards...  >.>  But there are a few songs of his that I like, so it doesn't really bother me personally.  I just want to see JYJ succed is all.  Wishing you all the best!  JYJ Hwaiting!
