HunterxHunter
Thanks to my sister, I have been watching an anime called 'HunterxHunter'. I find it to be quite interesting. It's from the same creator as 'Yu Yu Hakusho', so it was only a matter of time before my sister took to this anime. We've been watching the 2011 version as well as the original. They're both very different in some parts. But since I saw the recent one first, I'm more into that one. The story is about a boy named Gon who wants to become a Hunter so that he can find his father who left him when he was young. He participates in the difficult exam to attain his license and makes friends along the way (who also have reasons for getting a license). Many issues occur after he obtains it, but you'll have to watch to see what they are. :D
I actually participated in a birthday project
For Changmin's 25th birthday, I thought I'd actually do something. So, this time I participated in a birthday project hosted by MAXNATION an official fansite dedicated to him. The deadline was a few days before his birthday and the notice was given a month in advance. However, I waited until pretty much the last moment to work on it. I was trying to gather ideas. I wanted this card to be special, but not have that "Oppa, I love you!" type of feel. So, I came up with this:
Cute, ne? Sorry if they're difficult to see. The shirts on here are origami and I drew out the '2' and the '5'. I also came up with the poem on my own. As for him receiveing this card, I do not know...but I really hope he did. .__.
'Moonlight Prince' airs...but soon gets cancelled
It was a short-lived program, but I found it amusing. Of course the main reason I watched it was because Changmin was one of the fixed hosts of the show and it showed on KBS (a channel I actually have). In Korea, it began airing in mid-January, but for KBS World, it came out much later. The show is basically a variety show created to be like a book club. As in they talk about books. It was also Kang Ho Dong's creation as well as his return to television after a long hiatus (it's a long story). I know it might sound boring, but there was a reason it came on late at night in Korea...some of the comments they had might have been 'inappropriate' for the sensitive audience. But I found them to be very hilarious! And, of course, since Changmin is on the show...he brought on those snarky comments like it was nothing! Alas, it wasn't enough. The viewer ratings were pretty bad. Most found it "too boring" to watch. But I think there was another reason. This leads me to my next highlight...
So...Changmin and f(x)'s Victoria might have dated...
This might be partially the reason why 'Moonlight Prince' got cancelled. I'm not gonna lie, I WAS FREAKIN' UPSET ABOUT THIS NEWS!!!! For a whole week, I wasn't in the cheeriest of moods. It started with a post on Tumblr of a picture that Victoria had posted from her Weibo account. It was a harmless picture of food she had made for Chinese New Year. However, fans noticed the man in the reflection of the spoon. After doing some more FBI work, they came to the conclusion that it was Changmin. SM confirmed it, but said that there was more people there and that Victoria liked inviting friends over anyway. The thing is that she took the picture down and then replaced it with the same pic, except it had writing over the spoon. :/ Some fans that I know say that indeed they did date, but they had broken up (well before that picture was taken). What made me really mad was some people on sites talking about this scandal saying things like "I hope they're f***ing" or "I hope she's doing the splits on his d**k". It was not a good week to me. Some fans even went on to prove that 'Changtoria' was real by finding pics of them together or having matching items. Of course as fans we don't have a say in who our idols can or can't date, but really...those types of comments up there really aren't needed as I don't want that image in my head. >:( Also, I think dating scandals involving my bias would be alot easier for me to get over if I weren’t so romantically attached to said bias. ┐(‘~`;)┌ Either way, I must say that I'm fine now (because they aren't dating) though now I do feel bad because I wondered if he felt misearable because of what fans (like me) have said or done through that perdicament. Because of this, however, I really want to get to him. And that means I must learn Korean, get a job, go to a few of their fanmeets, etc. if I want to actively pursue him. I don't want to be stalkerish about it either. :P I was actually considering auditioning for SM as an emcee. I don't know if I'd make it though. As for Victoria...I really didn't pay any attention to her before, so I'm not too particular about her for now.
Daichi Miura's 8th Anniversary project
Most of you may have never heard of him, but Daichi Miura is a Japanese singer and amazing dancer under AVEX. However, he's very underrated. Through one of the people I follow on Twitter, I decided to participate in his 8th anniversary project. It was a fairly simple idea, and I think it is also a really sweet one. Each participant was to write a little message for him and take a picture of the sky in their area. I really do hope that it will make Mr. Miura happy as I believe he deserves it! I recommend you give him a listen and watch a few of his music videos if you're interested.
Changmin and Junnosuke actually met!
I literally spazzed when I had heard about this. It was recently on the Japanese television program called 'The King's Brunch' and they were on the subject of food and such. That was when Changmin had made mention that he indeed had met and eaten out with Junnosuke when he was visiting Korea last year since Junnosuke is very infatuated with the country lately (which I love). they had Korean BBQ. The host then added "You must've had alot of stares". I bet they did as I'm one of the fans that believes they look alike at first glance. I wonder how it all went down...like what did they chat about? But there was probably more eating done than speaking. Now if only they would work on a song together (be it in Japanese or Korean) or at least star in a drama together. XD
Well, that is pretty much a condensed form. Until next time, peace! ^o^
I LOVE hunterxhunter! Although ive only watched till like episode 50 it was amazing! Honestly that card is soooo cute! Hope he recieves it! And about victoria and changmin .... *sigh. I was sorta bugged (theyve got their own lives though ....) The reactions just make everything worse -_- like WTH?!?! Now for something more positive! ReplyDeleteSo happy!
My sister would love you for saying that you love HunterxHunter. Are you watching the new or the old one? Aw~! Thank you! It's been a month since his birthday (it was on Feb. 18th), but I hope it's reached his hands. You should've seen how many cakes he got. XD Exactly! That's what I'm talking about. Those reactions tend to hurt worse than the scandal itself. Uwah~! You also wished that they'd meet? High-five! (^o^)/
DeleteWhen I was younger I used to watch the old version but over my past summer holiday I restarted watching the 2011 version with my friend! *anime marathon people !!!!! (⌒▽⌒)
